Fresh GTA 6 Leak Claims There Are 2 Main Characters And Three Cities

Due to the massive GTA 6 leak in December from a supposed tester for the game at Rockstar, we've learned some valuable information about the upcoming title.
It is important to note from the outset that there is no evidence that any of these leaks carry any truth. In fact, there is no confirmation that Rockstar is even working on Grand Theft Auto 6, so take all these claims with a pinch of salt.
However, some avid GTA fans who have been searching for information have discussed the possibility that these leaks may indeed be legitimate given how much they match up with the December leak.
It is possible that the two leaks originated from the same person, just from different accounts, in an attempt to make their claims more believable while maintaining their similarities. The newest leak is more specific, even revealing the names of the voice actors who appear to have starred.
Message published on reddit January 10th, contains details on the game's intended characters, its settings, and even release.
Two siblings as main characters
A December leak said "I know there will be multiple main characters - they could be siblings" and this new post confirms this by claiming "2 main characters (brother and sister)".
According to the report, John Leguizamo will play the main character named Matias Gonzalez, while Roselyn Sanchez will play the main villain Valeria Madrina.
Vice City and two other cities?
The leak claims we'll be going back to the 1980s and 90s, which is the perfect time frame to return to Vice City. But like the December leak, it looks like more than one city will be on the maps. The new post claims that there will also be another US city inspired by Fort Lauderdale and a third city inspired by Bogota, Colombia's capital.
Bogotá is likely to be similar to "North Yankton" in GTA V, where players will only visit it for certain missions.
The December leak actually says that another US city will be based in Boston, so they are different here.
In addition to the main locations, according to the leak claims, "There are approximately 9 small towns scattered between Vice City and Fort Lauderdale."
The estimated release window for the game, at least according to this source, is late 2021 or possibly early 2022. It is said that a trailer can be expected as early as April 2020, with a February announcement without a trailer. GTA V was first announced about two years before its release.
Speculation about a trailer surfaced in January following the release of a new Rockstar job listing for a video editor.
Other details from the leak include:
- The map was designed with air travel in mind
- 2 main characters (brother and sister)
- 6-star desired return rate
- Online mode will be more story-driven (Red Dead Style)
- Fuel in cars will be presented for the first time
- Own personal vehicles can be purchased
- Weapons can be stored in a chest
- The police system will be similar to RDR2
Again, there is no way to verify this information, so we can only speculate about its accuracy for now. If the leak is correct, we won't have to wait long to figure it out, and there should be some kind of announcement in February.
