If you want to know how to complete the Legendary Storyteller story in Sea of Thieves, then you've landed on the right shore.
The Legendary Storyteller is the third quest in Tall Tale Golden Shores. As Madame Olivia mentions at the end of the previous quest, Tasha, Innkeeper at Ancient Peak Outpost might know something about Briggs.
Sea of Thieves - Legendary Storyteller Guide
- Visit the tavern at Ancient Peak Outpost.
- Vote in the diary for the Legendary Storyteller
- Listen to Tasha and then look at the diary
- Find out the three islands mentioned in the book
- Go to each island to get two keys and a chest
- Decide which island to go next with engraving on a carved board
- Use the carved board to find a place to dig
- Dig up an ancient crown
- Return to Ancient Peak Outpost and give Tasha the Ancient Crown.
The Legendary Storyteller starts in the tavern at Ancient Peak Outpost. Look for the diary next to Tasha and have your team vote for it. You will receive a book of Tasha's children's drawings depicting Briggsy's adventures."
Open the journal and explore each chapter for clues about islands worth visiting. Each chapter details Briggsy's adventure where she hides or loses treasure on the island. Using the clues in the drawings, you will need to work out the islands where the treasures are hidden. This can be a little tricky as you may need to move backwards.
As an example, the information in the image above shows that Briggsy ended her journey at the Galleon's Last Refuge outpost, and she sailed to it from the west, from the Steeltooth outpost. Accordingly, she sailed to this outpost from the north from the island of Old Faithful. And on the Old Servant she got from the Lair of Rogues. Apparently, some thing is buried on this island, next to one of the stones. We run to the stone on the map and dig out the key.
Alternatively, if you're familiar with the Sea of Thieves map and island structure, you can figure out which island is shown in the drawing without following Briggsy's path thoroughly. In any case, you will need to use this kind of problem solving to work through the other two islands. Some of the islands may require you to guess their silhouette.
For the image above, you can trace its path. He is like this: Near the outpost of Golden Sands, after the battle, her ship was caught in a storm, and then it was carried north. Next, we see two rocks and some kind of island, which Briggsy sailed on a boat after her ship sank. And on this island there is a cave where the captain's wife was sleeping something.
The island we are looking for is Lonely Bay. Directly from the shore there is an entrance to the cave. We're heading there! Inside we find a boat and dig near it Key with Crown.
The third story is also next to the outpost of Golden Sands. Finding himself without a ship, Briggsy ends up on the island of the Mermaid Orphanage. The landmark shows a rock in the northeast of the island. We shoot ourselves from the cannon on the rock, which is located on the right. At the top, we dig up Briggsy's chest and open it with the help of the previously found two keys. in the chest Carved board.
This is your clue as to where to go next. Flip it over (using the left trigger or right mouse button) to find the coordinate carved on the back. Use the map on your ship to find the island and set sail. In my case, this is G16 / Treasure Valley.
Once on the island, you will need to use the features and landmarks to "fill in the holes" of the wooden plank. Do this by holding the board (right trigger or left mouse click) and looking for rocks and objects that match the holes. When you find the right spot, a small hole will show you where you should dig.
Dig up the treasure and return to Tasha at Ancient Peak Outpost. Turn in the Ancient Crown to complete the Legendary Storyteller.
Diaries Legendary Storyteller
1 diary - Lonely Bay Island: the first of Briggsy's journals can be found in a cave on the northwest side of the island.
2 diary - Mermaid Shelter Island: at the campfire with a pot on the northwest coast, in a broken barrel.
3 diary - the island of the Old Sea Atoll: in the bow of the shipwreck, in the hole on the port side.
4 diary - outpost Steel Tooth: this diary is in the tavern, on the bookshelf next to the fireplace.
5th diary - outpost Galleon's Last Shelter: more one magazine can be found at the very top on the bow of the wrecked ship.
