Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded is now down and more Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons than ever are viable in Caldera. Here are the ten most popular weapons in Warzone, as of April 17th.

Despite the sheer number of weapons on offer, only a few guns see consistent play in Warzone as the meta changes. We've seen various weapons rise and fall, such as the Grau, Bruen, FFAR, MP40 and more.

The Reloaded Season 2 update brought a lot of changes to Warzone - most notably the introduction of Rebirth Reinforced and a shake-up of the meta with the new Armaguerra 43 SMG.

10. Bren

Bren Vanguard is currently an extremely popular choice on Caldera.

While the MP40 and STG-44 have been widely popular since Vanguard's integration, it took a while for the Bren to find its feet in the Call of Duty battle royale. He soared up the rankings during the Christmas period, making his way to second place.

Its solid damage and modest recoil mean players of all calibers can take full advantage of it, and the huge magazines you'd expect from an LMG are good too.

However, the nerfs with the Season 2 update played their part and now the machine has fallen to 10th place.

9. AK-47 (Cold War)

The Cold War AK-47 is one of the best support snipers in Warzone.

The Cold War version of the AK-47 brings with it the positives and negatives that fans of the series are used to. High damage and decent range are countered by flying recoil and slow rate of fire, as well as rather cumbersome handling.

The right modifications, however, can negate some of these shortcomings and ensure effective elimination of enemies.

8. Milan 821

Milan may well return to the Caldera.

The Black Ops Cold War submachine gun is known for its damage and range, surpassing what most players would expect from an SMG. However, it loses power due to its slow rate of fire and moderate impact, meaning that players may need to be a little smarter when colliding than with other guns.

However, it's back on this list for the first time since Warzone Pacific saw the light of day and could still soar into the top five.

7. XM4

The XM4 has always been popular during Cold War, but it took longer to gain a foothold in Warzone.

Another Cold War weapon that returned to the roster in Season 2 of Warzone Pacific, the XM4 thrives on its fast rate of fire and impressive range. It struggles with both handling and damage, but extended mages and handguards will keep you competitive at most ranges.

Like the Milano, it can still go higher as players get a bit further away from the Vanguard weapons.

6.Automaton

Automaton is incredibly popular in Vanguard, and some of that popularity has carried over to Warzone.

Despite being the dominant AR in professional CoD: Vanguard for a long time, the Automaton was only briefly popular in Warzone. Major nerfs in the first season saw his recoil become much harder to control and his popularity naturally collapsed.

However, it experienced a resurgence in Season 2, with its fast rate of fire meaning accurate shots will outperform almost any opponent. However, this is easier said than done.

5. Owen Gun

Owen's pistol is a solid option in Warzone.

The Australian SMG was added to Warzone with the Vanguard integration and while inconsistent in terms of its popularity, it has now reached a steady level of pick in Season 2.

With nerfs to Welgun coming in Season 2 of Reloaded, Owen Gun has now gotten ahead of him and could soar even higher on this list.

4. Swiss K31

The Swiss K31 Sniper was added in the Season 3 update for BOCW.

During the sixth season of the Cold War era, the Swiss K31, consistently second behind the Kar98k, found its way to first place. He didn't last long, however, being usurped by his old enemy the Kar98k and now a pair of Vanguard weapons.

The rifle is very similar to the WWII marksman's rifle in terms of damage, speed, and handling, but it's been dropped as the flinching nerfs make their impact known. There is still not much between them, but fourth place will have to be dealt with for now.

3. Cooper carbine

The new Cooper carbine has a high rate of fire and decent damage.

For the first time in history, Cooper's carbine made it to the top of the list of most popular weapons in season 2. However, this didn't last long, quickly dropping to third place as players return to the MP40 after the nerfs proved to be weaker than originally feared.

The real strength of the Cooper carbine lies in its rate of fire, dispensing bullets at amazing speed. Naturally, this means that players will have to reload frequently and learn to control the minimum recoil of the pistol.

However, it can rip apart enemies (almost) as fast as bullets, making it a great option at close to medium ranges.

2. Kar98k

The Kar98k has long been a popular choice in Warzone, a trend that continues into Season 1.

For some time, the Kar98k was the most popular sniper rifle in Warzone, a fact that remains in Pacific Season XNUMX (we know it's technically a Marksman rifle).

Despite reaching first place at the start of the season, he was once again dethroned by the MP-40. He's still as forgiving, fast and powerful as ever, so it's no surprise that players still believe in him and trust him to take down enemies across the Caldera.

1.MP40

The MP40 will be well known to longtime CoD fans, appearing in a number of games over the years.

As players got used to the Vanguard weapons and Caldera, the MP40 established dominance on the Pacific map that we haven't seen since Grau and Brune. He dropped out after the Season 2 nerfs, but proved to be surprisingly resilient and remains in the top spot after the Season 2 Reloaded update.

His tackle rate is still relatively low compared to his earlier peak of over 15%, but players seem to trust him more and more as we get closer to Season 3.
