Apex Legends Season 5 Teaser Reveals New Location In Kings Canyon
Apex Legends Season XNUMX teaser seemingly showed the sheer size of the new location coming to Kings Canyon - and it's safe to say the map is gearing up for a pretty major change.
Back on April 10, the first apparent teaser for the fifth season of Apex Legends was revealed when battle royale fans spotted a strange door on the Hydro Dam in Kings Canyon. Several other teasers have surfaced since then - each pointing to changes to the original Apex map once Season XNUMX goes live.
As the days went by, insiders revealed dates for future teasers, but some of them focused on what's already out there, and one attentive player spotted the massive size of the new location.
Reddit user OrcusDei noted that the first of these teasers asks the question, "How big is it?" with a picture of the proposed new location attached so as to try to figure out the answer.
The dome-like shape and accompanying tunnels in the teasers appear to be taking the place of wetlands - replacing at least ten buildings and even helping to destroy part of the landscape.
This would undoubtedly be a huge change to the current layout of Kings Canyon, even though the wetlands are not a major hotspot. However, OrcusDei indicated that the image they modeled may differ from what Respawn had in mind.
Tunnels for the new location were shown back in Season XNUMX, when players could hear knocking under the swamps.
However, what Respawn has in mind with the changes will only be confirmed after the launch of the fifth season. It was supposed to happen on May 7th, but since it was rescheduled for May 12.
