Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Teaser Spotted in Warzone
Even though CoD 2020 hasn't been officially announced yet, according to a new video, there may already be a teaser for the upcoming Black Ops Cold War inside Warzone Season 5.
At this point, we know a ton of details about Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, this year's entry into the first-person shooter mega franchise, though Activision hasn't technically confirmed this.
A lot of leaks lately indicate that the announcement of the game will be integrated into Warzone in some way. How exactly this will be implemented remains to be seen, but perhaps we already have the first clue.
On August 7, Warzone players reported a strange glitch effect on their screens while playing. According to the videos, static takes over the player's screen for several minutes before the words "KNOW YOUR STORY" appear on the screen.

This message is then followed by the words "Doomed to repeat it", which in Russian translates as "Doomed to repeat it." What does all this mean? Your assumption is the same as ours, but it would be hard to argue that this was a teaser for the next game.
First, the phrase "know your history or be doomed to repeat it" is an old philosophical adage that doesn't really apply to anything related to Warzone in its current state, so it should be related to the new game.
Moreover, the presence of the Russian text cannot be an accident; Since the new CoD will reportedly be set in the Cold War era, it's safe to assume that Russia will play a central role in its story campaign and multiplayer.
Of course, there's always the chance that this could be strictly a teaser for an upcoming in-game event in Warzone, completely unrelated to Black Ops Cold War. V season 5 official roadmap Activision has confirmed that there will be a "mid-season event" in the game, so we won't know the full picture until it starts.
However, we may not have to wait long at all given what some content creators have received from Activision mystery boxes with instructions not to open the package before August 10th.
As a result, the vast majority of rumors have moved to Monday, which is the official reveal date for the next CoD, making it even more understandable that developers are starting to scatter game teasers here and there.
