You may have noticed that Rick and Morty are very similar to the characters from the movie Back to the Future. Now Adult Swim is paying the price with a crossover we never expected to see: Doc Brown actor Christopher Lloyd plays Rick Sanchez live in a new teaser.
In the teaser, dubbed "C-132" (a reference to the universe they come from), Rick and Morty emerge from a portal to Rick's garage.
"Morty, we're home," Lloyd's Rick burps. Morty (Jayden Martell) has a predictable response: a typically nervous "Oh God."
It's unclear if this will be a one-time teaser for fun fan service or if it will be part of a larger project, such as scenes in the upcoming fifth season finale.
Incidentally, Adult Swim just released the first two minutes of the season 5 finale spoiler. The episode starts with Morty jumping through dimensions to clean up some suspicious messes on Rick's list.
