Sweatshirt by Louis Vuitton and League of Legends Worth $2,420
The Louis Vuitton and League of Legends collection is finally available, and as expected, everything comes at a price.
Clothing style is completely based on the skin Damage Qiyana Prestige Edition, and the champion herself appears on T-shirts and dresses. Looking at the Louis Vuitton collection, all items for sale feature the iconic floral and star pattern. They also all have a striped tiger print applied to several pieces of clothing. While we're not entirely sure if the color bars have anything to do with League of Legends, it does look rather silly.
Prices are steep, but that's no surprise given the regular price of Louis Vuitton items. The LVxLoL tights cost $1,610. The zip-up sweatshirt is $2,420. An outfit that looks like Kiyana's is $2,280. The most expensive item in the collection, the leather biker jacket, costs $5650. With the average League of Legends skin price in the $10-15 range, one Louis Vuitton shirt would be equivalent to... (calculating the math) 200-250 game skins.
The collection is obviously aimed at a very narrow circle of League of Legends fans who may wear luxury brands, but everyone has a desire to have more money.
Louis Vuitton also made a cover for the 2019 League of Legends World Cup trophy. Skin Prestige Edition True Damage Senna, which will also have a Louis Vuitton design, will be released sometime in 2020.
