Fortnite trick uses trees to travel fast on water in chapter 3
An unusual technique for fast travel in Fortnite has been found thanks to Chapter 3 changes that make trees the best way to travel through water.
Every Fortnite player is retrained in battle royale as Epic Games unveiled brand new map with updated movement skills and playable bosses like The Foundation.
Along with the update, the developers have added a new type of tree from which players can collect materials. All in all, it looks like a fairly mundane feature until you need a quick way to navigate bodies of water.
In Fortnite Chapter 3, there are giant pine trees that can be physically cut down for an in-game object. It behaves differently from other types of wood in the game, and players use the new feature to their advantage.
Fortnite Tree Trick Chapter 3
Reddit user "HaYouGotRekTed" cut down one of these trees and it fell into a nearby lake.
The player then climbed onto the trunk to continue mining. Surprisingly, the knocked-down wood began to move as the guy in the Eddie Brock skin continued to chop down the log from above.
"By using the new trees, you can travel fast across water," the player said. As soon as HaYouGotRekTed turned on his camera, you could see the tree moving through the water like a torpedo.
It's unclear if this is the intended mechanic for the new trees in Chapter 3, but there are already a ton of people who love metamorphosis in the game.
"I'm just about to play a regular match when all of a sudden, a 200 km/h log flies over my head," said one fan. "This season is going to be fun."
