NHL 21 Tutorial: How to Make Lacrosse Like Candlesticks
If you want to hit the stands of the fans with miracle goals in NHL 21, as Svechnikov, the new king of the Carolinas, nicknamed Mr. Lacrosse, does, we will teach you!
NHL 21 just came out, and like many players, you probably want to try out all the new moves! Well, some of them are a bit difficult to complete, so you need to make sure to get into practice mode and make sure you understand them. Once you have entered them into your muscle memory, you should then try them out in live play. If you end up trying something you haven't 100% mastered, it could cost your team the win! While some of these moves are quite simple, one particularly difficult one is the lacrosse feint (goal from behind the goal), which we often see performed by Svechnikov playing for Karolina.
This is a rather unusual move, because you launch the puck into the air, hook it on the stick and then send it to the net! If you're going to rack up style points and surprise your opponent, then this move is definitely worth adding to your arsenal.
How to Perform Lacrosse in NHL 21
To perform a lacrosse move in NHL 21, you must be behind the opponent's net with the puck. If the player is left-handed, move the puck to the left by pressing the left button on the right stick. Press L1 or LB depending on your platform, then right click. When you click the handle inward, you will need to rotate the right handle a semi-circle counterclockwise. This pretty much mimics the movement of the stick when you launch the puck behind you.
If you're using a right-handed gamepad, you'll need to do the opposite. Push the right stick to the right to move the puck to the right side. Then press the L1 or LB button on your controller and then click the right stick. Then you turn the right stick half a circle clockwise to complete the movement.
The key to making this trick work is to accurately time the button interactions. I highly recommend watching the video above to get the timing right.
