Far Cry 6 Leak - New Villain and Vaas Origin Theory from Far Cry 3
While Far Cry 6 is expected to be officially unveiled during the upcoming Ubisoft Forward presentation on July 12th, we've only had vague rumors and speculation so far.
One of those rumors was that the next iteration of Far Cry would serve as a prequel to the third game and would include ideas for a possible villain Vaas. The new Far Cry 6 leak can only confirm this theory.
Earlier last week the leak seemed to confirm that Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad.) will take on the role of the newest villain, and the newest leak poster shows him courting a little boy, a boy with the same facial expression and facial scar (an eyebrow like Vaas). The leak was spotted on a Hong Kong PlayStation account and shared not only our first look at the first wave of promotional material, but also the release date:

The answer below shows the English version, which invites players to Yara's tropical paradise. “As dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo intends to somehow return his nation to its former glory, with his son Diego following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression sparked a revolution."
The description also confirms the single-player mode, online multiplayer mode, in-app purchases, and a release date set for February 18, 2021.
The latest leak sparked interest in those old rumors regarding Vaas' origin story, and upon closer inspection (i.e. lip structure, scar, facial expression) it looks very much like young Diego could be the middle of Vaas' transformation:
Looks like those Far Cry 3 prequel rumors could be true, that certainly looks like a baby Vaas to me. https://t.co/JxebyRot1u

Will we learn more about Far Cry 6 during this weekend's demo? It's a rumor and that's what we're hoping for, but the 2021 release date is a bit of a concern for us. We'll see soon because this show kicks off on July 12th.
