WoW Classic Client Leak Confirms Burning Crusade Beta Starts This Week
The World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic beta is expected to begin this week after early testers have shared client screenshots on Battle.net, with even more players receiving invites in the coming weeks.
World of Warcraft Classic players have been waiting a long time for the Burning Crusade Classic beta to begin. It's the next major addition to World of Warcraft Classic, and for many, it's the Holy Grail of World of Warcraft content.
On According to sources, beta version was supposed to start in mid-February , but that did not happen. However, it looks like the wait is finally over. There are good reasons to believe that this will happen this week.
The World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic beta client has officially arrived on the Battle.net launcher. It is available only for the first testers, and it is not yet possible to play on the servers. But the fact that it exists at all means that the beta version will be launched at any time.
You can see the Burning Crusade Classic beta client in the dropdown on the left side of the screenshots. Early testers were even able to download and install it ahead of time.
They even managed to download the client, and although they can't login because the servers aren't active, the login screen is open. This shows that the legendary dark portal veterans are all too familiar with the players.
But that's not all. They went even further and took a screenshot of the brand new Ray Traced Shadows option in the system menu, which is expected to make the game a lot better.
This is still speculation at the moment and there was no official confirmation this week that the beta will take place.
However, there are signs, and the time has come. But, perhaps more importantly, the hype is real.
