League of Legends is getting a new abyssal jungler in season 12, joining the likes of Kha'Zix and Rek'Sai. Here's everything we know about Champion 160 - Bel'Vet - including her skills, abilities, and release date.

Riot kicked off League of Legends Season 12 loudly with four different champions to kick off mega 2022. Now that Zeri и Renata cuts through the rift, two more characters remain, including a new forester from the abyss, first talked about back in 2021 year.

Here's everything we know about Bel'Vet - Champion of the 160 - including her knowledge, abilities, and when the League's next jungler will enter the Summoner's Rift.

Who is the upcoming Void jungler in League of Legends?

The upcoming League of Legends jungler was first named on the September 2021 champions roadmap as "an overwhelming new jungler that should fill the Void in all your hearts."

Then it all kind of boiled over during the January 12 Season 2022 broadcast, when lead producer Ryan "Reav3" Mireles became "obsessed" when talking about the new champion.

"I see it. I see everything. Lavender sea, purple cities cover the land. She rules it all, my empress. This is what Runeterra should be, its true form,” he said.

While it doesn't really give a huge clue as to who the Abyssal creature is, one thing is for sure: she's going to be pretty powerful.

In a developer post published on April 18, Riot gave a little more information about the new character. They described her as a "delant" and hinted that the aforementioned "Lavender Sea" might be one of her abilities that would "crash against enemy defenses in waves".

The developers have also released a new teaser image of a purple stinger-like appendage emerging from a cloud of fog, ready to strike at a shrinking, faceless man.

The hazy image could potentially become an ability icon for the 160th League Champion.

Draining the Forester from the Abyss of Bel'Vet LoL

On April 20, fans got another look at the champion, with the official in-game model leaked. Bel'vethcirculating in social networks.

According to the leak, she has two "forms" - her base form is a winged humanoid form, and her "end" form is a giant manta ray-shaped Void creature.

Riot is currently tight-lipped about what to expect from the league's new jungler in terms of abilities and gameplay. However, considering the way she drugged Reav3 and the scenario he recounted, she probably has specific terrifying skills.

She was described by Reav3 as a champion "who gains momentum to swarm the Rift", which could mean a swarm of creatures under her command, or some sort of spreading mist that can thwart enemies that try to stalk them.

The "Lavender Sea", which has been mentioned multiple times in her teasers, seems like it could be some sort of mind control fog that will allow those affected to witness the "true face of the Abyss".

Bel'Vet release date in League of Legends

Riot has confirmed that Bel'Veth, Champion 160, will release later in League of Legends Season 12. Since the launches of Zeri and Renata have already taken place, this will be the third in order of releases in 2022.
