Fortnite Skins leak ahead of Halloween
Dataminers have leaked images of upcoming cosmetics from every major patch update. Some of them even manage to dig up skins that have been encrypted by Epic. In update V10. 40 Fortnite miners have found and released codenames for skins likely to be released in the run-up to Halloween.
Over the past two years, Epic have released a Halloween event called Fortnite mares. During the event, Epic was releasing new skins and other Halloween-themed cosmetics in the Fortnite Item Store.
Hypex has leaked the codenames of some of the Halloween skins we'll see during Fortniters or perhaps earlier. Here is the list of names:
- Skull Trooper Neon - Male
- “Gangster Monster - Man
- Ghoul Trooper - Man
- Cuddle Team Dark - Woman
- The Dark One - Man
- Slurp Creature - Man
- Wraith – Woman”
- Pale Spooky - Woman
- Modern Witch - Woman
Some of these skin ideas may be canceled by Epic and on Twitter, Hypex stated that the Trooper Neon skin skull may not appear.
If the codenames are correct and Epic decides not to abandon these concepts, we could see the return of the Ghoul Trooper skin in the Fortnite store. As you can see from one of the codenames, Epic appears to be working on a male version of the Ghoul Trooper outfit. The Ghoul Trooper skin was not available in the store last year and last appeared in the store on November 28, 2019, which was 673 days ago at the time of writing.
There are a number of players who believe that the Braniac skin is a male version of the Ghoul Trooper outfit, but this is not the case. The Braniac skin was released last year with its first appearance on October 26th.
Either way, it would make sense for Epic to create a male version of Ghoul Trooper and make Ghoul Trooper available in the store, as a new report found that the game's revenue has dropped 52 percent from last year.
