Genshin Impact 2.8 Leaks Revealed New Domains for Mona, Kazuha, and Xin Yan in the Golden Apple Archipelago

More and more leaks about the upcoming 2.8 patch keep popping up, much to the delight of the Genshin Impact community. This time, the leaks revealed images of the new domains that were made for Mona, Kazuha, and Xin Yan in the 2.8 update.

Like last time, on the new Archipelago of the Golden Apple there will be many characters such as Mona, Xin Yan, Kazuha and many more. Therefore, it is possible that new domains that have surfaced on the web will appear on new islands. Here's everything players need to know about the new domains created for the aforementioned characters in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: Leaked Images of New Domains Coming to the Golden Apple Archipelago in Update 2.8

Even though the credible source of the BLANK leak has deleted his Twitter account, he continues to provide announcements of the latest Genshin Impact leaks on his Discord channel. On June 1, 2022, BLANK shared some photos of the new domains coming to the new Golden Apple Archipelago in patch 2.8 update.

The leak also mentions that the following characters are getting their own domains called "Phantom Worlds":

• Mona
• Xin Yan
• Kaedehara Kazuha

The aforementioned reddit post by r/Genshin_Impact_leaks shows leaked images from one of the new domains. Many theorists and speculations suggest that this is Mona's Phantom Realm, as the aesthetic seems to match Mona's character design with many shades of blue and starry skies.

Xin Yan will also get his own Domain, or Illusory Realm, which is very different from Mona's Phantom Realm. Many speculate that the appearance of the domain in the leaks may be an indirect allusion to Xin Yan's homeland, since Genshin impact provided little information about her nationality.

There is a popular theory that Xin Yan may have been of mixed ethnicity, where one parent was from Li Yue and the other possibly from Sumeru. As the Sumeru release date gets closer every day, this new domain in the Genshin Impact 2.8 update could very well be a teaser about Sumeru's flora and fauna. In the end, this is all just theory and speculation, so readers should take it as a rumor.

The latest set of leaked images that appear to be from Kazuha's Illusory Realm have been uploaded to Reddit and embedded below for readers to see. Kazuha's tenure seems to take place inside a ruined house, and many in the community believe this may be due to his old house that the character's family had to sell.

There are many theories about these new domains and how each character that appears in the new Golden Apple Archipelago gets their own Domain or Phantom Realm, depending on what readers would like to call it.

Speculation also suggests that these Phantom Worlds have some sort of connection to the characters they are based on. However, it can be quite difficult to come up with plausible reasons without much context other than leaked photos of the domain, so players should wait for further leaks and news for more information.
