League of Legends Leaks Reveal First Look at New Champion Aydin

lol

Several leaks have been leaked regarding an upcoming League of Legends champion named Aydin, but don't expect him to be on the battlefield anytime soon.

It's very rare for League players to get leaked from Riot. However, it looks like someone has inside information about one of the game's future champions.

The champion, rumored to be named Aydin, was discovered last week on Reddit. Although he won't be fighting in the Rift for a while, players now have an idea of how he will look and sound.

RiotLeaks first shared a look at Aydin's voice on March 27 with a teaser voice lines of Aydin . The character has a deep voice similar to Braum's, it is assumed that Aydin will herald the Frelord.

However, his voice lines are decidedly darker than the fan-favorite support. Aydin talks about "spoils" and "remnants of the war" and wanders through the extremely cold landscapes of Northern Runeterra.

This voice acting is marked as test, so it may not ship in the final product. However, it's a good look at what kind of champion Aydın could become, with lanes more juggernaut-aligned in the top lane than pleasing mids.

Then, on March 30, RiotLeaks gave players a glimpse of what Aydin might look like with some early concept arts. It's hard to decipher the rough sketches, but players know that the character is using some sort of pickaxe as his weapon.

The sketches also confirmed Aydin's identity as a Frelorian, clearly marked on top of both concept images. His design looks like he could be quite terrifying, similar in some ways to Urgot's design, but adapted to make it through the winter.

It's rare to hear a leak in an upcoming edition of the League, so for a champion to be announced this early, it's pretty unexpected.

Aydın will most likely be released as Champion 151, with a couple of other champions in front of him as per the October 2019 roadmap. After improvements volibear in April or May during the "summer event" there will be two new champions released.

Players can expect the new "to fawn over" jungler and masked solo to arrive in June and July. Aydın could follow these two as the Frelordian champion doesn't really fit the theme of summer events.

We will let you know more about Aydin when more information becomes available.
