In CS:GO, Youtuber Found The Optimal Settings For Max FPS.

video

FPS is the most important parameter in CS:GO. The more frames per second, the smoother the game. At a low frame rate, the game completely turns into a slideshow that is impossible to play.

To increase FPS, usually everyone lowers the graphics settings to the minimum. But youtuber ALBU did a study and found the optimal graphics settings for maximum FPS in CS:GO.

Texture streaming. If the game is installed on an SSD, then this parameter will not change anything. But if the game is on a hard drive, then there may be a slight loss of FPS with streaming enabled, since the textures will load slowly. Therefore, it is recommended to turn it off.

Effect Detail and shader detail are two interrelated parameters. You cannot save FPS on them, as they are responsible for drawing the effects of grenades. When setting high parameters, you will lose up to 10% FPS, but you will be able to see opponents well through the burning Molotov. The other side of the coin is that the effect of the smoke and explosion of the fragmentation grenade will take half a second longer. It's a minor loss compared to the big advantage you gain by seeing opponents through hammers.

Increased player contrast - an option thanks to which you will better see opponents in dark places on the map, while losing up to 3% FPS. At the same time, after adding this feature, many players complained about serious FPS drawdowns when aiming at an enemy model. Now this problem is partially fixed, so the choice is yours.

Multi-core processing is an extremely important parameter. It must be enabled, it gives an increase of up to 50% FPS. The number of frames will depend on the number of processor cores - the more of them, the more FPS.

Some of the parameters do not affect the FPS in the game in any way - they can be set to maximum values:

General shadow quality (Minimum loss at high graphics level, for no frame loss set to medium quality)

Detailing models and textures

· Multi-sampling anti-aliasing mode (does not affect the game on NVIDIA graphics cards)

・Texture filtering mode

Antialiasing with FXAA (Completely does not work in the game)

・Motion blur (Completely does not work in the game)

Use of ubershaders

Try it on your experience and share your impressions!
