Warner Bros Multiversus roster leaked online?
Inspired by Warner Bros' Smash Bros, the new fighting game Multiversus has been leaked as to which notable characters are making it into the upcoming platform fighting game.
Turning massive IPs into fighting games seems to be the newest trend among major entertainment companies.
October 2021 brought the release Nickelodeon All Star Brawl , Nick's attempts to create his own version of the Smash Bros, but with their Nickelodeon cartoonish charisma.
New leaks have revealed that entertainment giant Warner Bros is joining the fighting game frenzy by planning a similar game with an all-star cast.
Gandalf and Batman will appear in Warner Bros Multiversus.
Full line-up of Warner Bros Multiversus
The Multiversus listing surfaced in October when a Reddit post revealing the game, some of its cast, and numerous details about it was circulated on social media.
More information has since surfaced via Smash Bros-pro HungryBox, which showed a screenshot of the character selection screen and some of the other characters that made the list.
Here are all the characters known to us that will be born:
- Steven Universe ( Steven Universe )
- Batman ( DC Comics )
- Harley Quinn ( DC Comics )
- Shaggy ( Scooby-Doo! )
- Scooby-Doo ( Scooby-Doo )
- Gandalf ( Lord of the Rings )
- Tom and Jerry ( Tom & Jerry )
- Superman ( DC Comics )
- Wonder Woman ( DC Comics )
- Rick ( Rick and Morty )
- Morty ( Rick and Morty )
- Bugs Bunny ( Looney Tunes )
- Crazy Max ( Mad Max )
- Fred Flinstone ( flintstones )
- Finn ( Adventure Time )
- Jake ( Adventure Time )
- new character ( Warner Bros )
- Johnny Bravo ( Johnny Bravo )
- LeBron James ( space jam )
The new character is currently unnamed and is the only non-franchise character in Multiversus.
LeBron James is rumored to be the first DLC character to appear in the game and introduce the Space Jam franchise.
The initial rumor also mentioned that Harry Potter and Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter franchise could appear, but nothing has backed up that claim.
In total, Warner Bros Multiversus currently has 19 slots. Compared to 82 Smash Ultimate, this seems pretty minor, but we're very far away from Multiversus' release date, meaning more characters will likely be confirmed.
