Warsaw University has created a detailed map of the world of The Witcher
Employees of the University of Warsaw have created a topographic map of the world of The Witcher. It contains zones and objects from books, games, TV series and comics. The creators note that this is the first map that accurately shows the terrain, state borders, rivers and the location of cities with the number of inhabitants.
A lot of names and geographical objects like mountains and islands were added for filling. The data is fully consistent with the developments of fans in the universe of The Witcher.
Thanks to such a map, you can calculate the distance that the characters in books and games have traveled between areas. The notation on the right will help with this. Last December, the second season of The Witcher premiered on Netflix to critical acclaim.
Filming for the sequel will begin in March. Also this year, CD Projekt RED will start developing a new game in the series.
