In Portal Virtual Reality's V4 Global Guide, we'll take a deep dive into the basics of the game and walk you through the adventure. There is a lot to talk about here, because V4 is an MMO and all, so let's start explaining all the game mechanics!

Skills

Skills provide special effects and fall into two categories — active и passive skills.

➤Active Skills: Use after equipping to activate special effects.
➤Passive Skills: Effects are implemented as soon as they are unlocked.

Skill Menu

➤In the Skills menu, you can preview skills and skill details.
Here you can also level up and use skills.
➤Additional effects can also be unlocked and used from the skill menu, including effects that are unlocked after the skill has been equipped.

1) List of skills

➤Shows the name, level, type, unlock status and equip status of your skills.

2) Information about skills

➤Shows the name of the selected skill, level, skill selector and additional effect settings, as well as information about the next level of the skill.

3) Improvement

➤Use skill primers and gold to improve skills.
➤The Upgrade button is activated when an upgrade becomes available.

4) Equipment settings

➤Shows equipped skills.
➤Remove, equip, switch, etc. your skills.

Auto-activate

➤You can set up automatic activation of skills during auto-battle.

Active skills

There is equipped, chain и unique active skills.

1) Equipped Skills

Use after equipping to activate special effects.

➤Knight: Gains a spirit when using certain skills.

➤Warlord: Some skills are switched when using Outburst.
➤Slayer: Uses stamina and MP and can be activated by using certain skills.
➤Knight: Some skills are switched when using unique skills.
➤Boomblade: Can be activated when using certain skills.

3) Unique skills

Skills unique to each character.

➤[Enchantress]
Unleash Flames: Can be activated after 5x
casting the spell "Chain Magic". Chain Magic: Can activate chain skills when used.
➤[Warlord]
Activates when Vigor is full. When used, it can activate buffs and chain skills.
➤ [Killer]
Can always be activated after unlocking skills. When used, it is thrown towards enemies.
➤ [Knight]
Activates when Spirit is full. When used, it can activate buffs and chain skills.
➤ [Shooter]
Can always be activated after unlocking skills. The set of skill slots switches on use.

Activates when Flux is full. Receives buffs when used.

3. Passive skills

There are two types of passive skills.

1) Skill stats

Once unlocked, increases specific stats.

2) Conditional skills

Activates when certain conditions are met.

➤Conditions: dodge, parry, strike, etc.

Demon Stone Shards

➤Print Demon Stone Parts to get stats.
Each Demon Stone has 4 Areas, each containing 3 Demon Stone Pieces.
Stamp 3 Demon Stone Pieces in the same area at least once to unlock a new slot where you can equip the Demon Stone.
➤Imprint all the Demon Stone Parts on the current Demon Board up to the maximum level to unlock the next Region Boss Demon Plank.

2) Toggle demon slates

➤Use the arrow to move to the previous or next list of daemons.

3) Demon Slate Symbols

➤Tap the symbol on the Demon board you want to view.

4) Received statistics

➤Shows gauges showing the stats obtained by imprinting the Demon Stone Piece.
➤The stats obtained by using Demon Stones are displayed separately from the imprinted stats.

5) Auto print button

Allows automatic sealing of Demon Stone parts.

6) Demon Slate locked

➤Displayed when viewing a locked demon board.

Seal of Demon Stone Parts

1) Demon Stone Information

➤Shows the icon and name of the demon stone piece.

2) Demon Stone Details

➤Shows the Imprint Level of the Demon Stone Part and the stats obtained.

3) Currency required for printing

Imprint Stones and Gold are required to Imprint Demon Stone Parts.
The print fails or succeeds depending on the probability.

4) Fingerprint button

➤ Imprints of parts of a demonic stone.

5) Auto print button

➤Automatically seals Demon Stone pieces until you can't anymore.

6) Slot for equipping the Demon Stone

➤After all the Demon Stone pieces associated with a certain Demon Stone have been imprinted at least once, that Demon Stone slot becomes unlocked and the Demon Stone can be equipped.

Demon Stone Equipment

1) Demon Stone Slot

➤Clicking on a slot reveals demon stones that can be used on the right.

2) List of available demon stones

➤Shows the demon stones that can be used in the slot.
➤Shows statistics of all available demon stones.

3) Equip / switch button

Allows you to use a Demon Stone if there is no Demon Stone in the slot.
Allows you to switch Demon Stones when a Demon Stone is already in the slot.

4) Equipped Demon Stone Slot

➤Shows equipped Demon Stone.

5) Increased stats after equipping a demonic stone

Use a Demon Stone to see an increase in the Demon Stone's stats.

Demon Slate Imprint

You can seal the Demon Tablet once all of the Demon Stone Pieces on the Artuman Demon Tablet have reached their maximum level.
➤Use Imprint Stones to imprint Demon Slate and unlock stats.
➤Use imprint stones and gold to unlock stats. Depending on the probability, imprinting fails or succeeds.

Talents

Develop your talents in the [Menu] tab → [Talents].

1) Talents

➤Upgrade your character's stats with talents.
➤You can increase stats, activate conditional effects, and unlock active/passive skills and effects.

2) Talent points

➤Each talent has its own effects.
➤1 talent point is used every time you level up a talent.
➤By default, talents are locked. Each talent can be upgraded a maximum of 3 times.

How to get talent points?

➤You get your first talent point when you reach level 51.
➤After that, you earn 1 talent point every time you level up.

3) Talent Reset

➤You can reset all your talents.
➤Points already used to upgrade talents will be returned.
➤The Level Up button is activated when the requirements are met.

Equipment Upgrade

Allows you to use an upgrade scroll to increase the value of upgrading your equipment and get additional effects.

Each type of equipment has a corresponding upgrade scroll. There are upgrade scrolls specifically for weapons, protective equipment, accessories, cloaks and artifacts. Upgrade your equipment using the appropriate upgrade scrolls.

[How to upgrade equipment]

Select the gear you want to upgrade and scroll through the list of upgrades to try and upgrade.
Each piece of equipment can be upgraded with a guaranteed upgrade step with a 100% success rate.

Upgrading requires 2 types of upgrade scrolls.

The improvement may or may not succeed. If the upgrade fails, a piece of equipment may remain with the current upgrade level or be destroyed.

The penalty for failed enhancement is displayed when you register the equipment and the enhancement scroll.
Be sure to pay attention before you start improving.

Magic Upgrade

Magic enchantments give additional stats (in addition to basic ones) to all your equipment.

Use enchanted tomes and gold to enchant your gear with magic.

[Enchanted Tomes]

You need enchanted tomes to apply magical enchantments to equipment.
➤Enchanted tomes can be obtained from the Haunted Abyss.
They can also be obtained from achievements and as event rewards.

How to perform magic spells?

➤Register the required equipment and enchanted tome to get temporary stats. The stats you receive depend on the piece of equipment and rank. The value of the statistics depends on the rank of the equipment.
If a magic spell fails, the used magic tome disappears. Equipment and any provided stats remain the same.

Magic stats

Different stats can be obtained depending on the type of piece of equipment.
The values of characteristics depend on the rank of the equipment.

Equipment abilities

Imprint abilities on weapons to activate various effects during combat.

You can seal various ability gems on weapons.

How to get ability stones?

➤Ability Stones can sometimes be obtained by siphoning them from weapons with abilities acquired during hunting.
➤Weapons with abilities disappear during the transfer process. When this happens, you have a chance to receive a random Ability Gem.

Seal of Ability

➤You can only imprint abilities on rare or superior weapons.
Successfully sealing a weapon unlocks the unique effects of the used Ability Gem, so they can activate in combat.
Once imprinted, the ability cannot be extracted again.
Ability gem effects are activated regardless of equipment rank.

Soul Stones in V4

Soul Stones are development items that can be used as weapons and defensive equipment.

For each type of equipment, you can use different types of soul stones. The effects of the soul stone are as follows:

Soul Stones can be equipped with Rare or Better equipment.
The number of available slots increases depending on the rank.

1. Using Soul Stones

The Soulstones screen only shows soulstones that can be used for the selected equipment.
Choose the soul gem you want to use and equip it.
➤After equipping, you can press the [-] button on the soul stone icon to remove it.

2. Soul Stone Development

Soul stones can be developed up to level 20 for each level.

Once he reaches the maximum level, you can increase his rating by upgrading.

Level Up: Use Soul Shards and extra Soul Stones to level up.
➤Upgrade: Use Cleansing Water and soulstones of the same grade as the selected soulstone to upgrade.

The chance of successfully upgrading a soul stone depends on its degree. Failure causes the used material to be used up, and the level of the soul stone remains the same.

Satellites

Companions (Companions) are your NPC allies. They can be assigned to perform duties on your behalf. They often call you their captain.

1. Related effects

➤You can get statistics depending on the type and rank of your comrades.
➤Your companion's stats apply directly to you.
The more comrades you have, the stronger you will become.

2. Dispatch comrades

➤Depending on the type and rank, each satellite has different dispatching abilities.
Dispatch activities are duties that a companion performs on your behalf.

[Hunting]

➤ Companions can hunt on your behalf in every region.
The time and results of the hunt depend on the rank of the comrade.
➤Sometimes companions may find unusual items while hunting.
➤The locations available for hunting are limited depending on the rank of your companion.

[Collection]

➤Fellows can gather in each region on your behalf.
It is more efficient for a friend to collect than to do it yourself.
➤Items obtained by collecting are used for crafting.
➤Available gathering places are limited depending on the level of your companion.

[Regional Conquest]

Companions can go to conquer regions in any region you discover, regardless of its location.
While you are hunting in the Mirror Swamp, your companion can perform a Region Conquest in the Misty Lowland.
Keep in mind that it takes a little longer for a companion to complete the conquest of a region than if you did it yourself.
➤You and your partner cannot attempt to conquer the same region at the same time.

[Named Conquests]

Companions can defeat named creatures in each region.
➤Send comrades to destroy named creatures on your behalf.
Companions take longer to complete Named Conquests than players.
➤As with Region Conquest, you and your teammate cannot attempt the same Named Conquest at the same time.

3. How to send satellites

From the Companions menu, click the Dispatch button in the lower middle of the screen.

Then select the region you want to send your companion to. You can send them out to hunt, gather, or attempt to conquer.

For Named Conquests, select a named creature on the Named Conquest screen and a companion to send.

4. Related stories

➤You can unlock companion stories by collecting all companions in the collection of each story.
➤Each story has companions needed to unlock that story.
➤View each story to earn stats and rewards.
➤Collect more companions to unlock new stories and earn more rewards!

Production (Craft)

Craft various items by collecting and crafting items.

1. Collection

Gathering consists of collecting herbs, mining, logging, and digging. Collected items from each activity can be used as crafting materials.

Collecting herbs: Purchase materials for alchemy.

Mining engineering: Purchase of materials for blacksmithing.

Wood cutting: purchase of materials for metalworking.

Digging: buy polishing materials.

When collecting, there is little chance of achieving great success.
Great success allows you to purchase special materials used to create exquisite items.

Big Gatherables

➤There are large collectors in some regions.
Large Gatherers have collection level requirements that you must meet before you can collect them. You can get more than regular gathering items from big gatherers.
➤You can get special materials for crafting rare and epic items if you are very successful collecting from large gatherers.

How to mine resources?

Select gatherers from each hunting ground to collect them.

Press the Auto-Gather button to automatically collect collectable items in that region.

2. Craft

The craft consists of metalworking, polishing and alchemy.
You can create various items using the collectibles you received.

Metallurgy: creating weapons and protective equipment.

Polishing: Create accessories and soul stones.

Alchemy: Craft recovery items and various scrolls.

Visit crafting characters in each region for crafting.

3. Craftsmanship

Challenge yourself to become a master by increasing your level of craftsmanship. Level up your craft to reach mastery.

[Accepting Main Quests]

You can start the master quest when your crafting skill reaches legendary level 5 with max EXP.

Find quest NPCs through Craft Mastery in the quest list.

➤To start, accept the master quest from the NPC.

➤After completing the master quest, you can receive the earned rewards from the quest list - craft mastery to become a master.

[Main advantages]

Region Map

There are four realms in V4: Sillunas, Lunatra, Phantom Abyss и Batra.

Each kingdom has different regions with their own camps and hunting grounds.
You can view more detailed information about each region on the region map.

1. Information view mode

Click the "Region Info" button in the upper right corner of the region map to activate the "View Info" mode to display the region's main camps and hunting grounds on the map.

2. Travel mode

Click the "Region Information" button in the upper right corner of the region map to switch from information view to navigation mode.
In travel mode, you can tap anywhere on the map to move there automatically.

3. Zoom in/zoom out the map

Click the magnifying glass button below the Region Info button to zoom in or out on the map.

Increase: Activate information view when zooming out automatically zooms in.
You can see more detailed geography and your current location.

Decrease: zooming out automatically switches the map from information view mode to navigation mode.
If you zoom in again, you will still be in move mode.

4. View your location

Click the round target-shaped button in the upper left corner of the region map to center the map in relation to your current location.

5. Information about the camp

Select a camp from the menu to center the map at that location. Information about the resident and the request will appear in the menu to the right of the map.
Touch the house icon next to the name of the camp in the menu to either auto-travel or teleport to that camp.

6. Information about the hunting ground

Select a hunting location from the menu to center the map on that location.
Drops, monsters, and collectibles found in this area are shown in the menu to the right of the map. Information about conquering a region is also displayed.

7. Conquest of regions

Regional Conquests become available once you reach level 16. The first thing you'll likely encounter will be in the Misty Forest Lowlands, located in the Terang Forests.

The conquest of regions ends with the destruction of monsters in this hunting ground. You can also use Red Gems to instantly complete a conquest, or send a companion to do it for you.

Each region conquest is available 1-5 times per day, depending on the region.

If you have completed a Region Conquest within the maximum time allowed during the day, you can use Red Gems to reset the Conquest up to 5 times.
