The main heroes of the occasion in patch 3.1 were Saino and Venti.

The first is an Electro spearman, tailored to the role of the main DPS character in the squad.

The second one, Venty, got another rerun and is ready to become a constellation for some lucky ones or join the squads in the Abyss as a top support.

Whom to turn anyway? Potentially top DD or time-proven support with a screed? It is worth understanding the heroes themselves and their importance to your account before answering this question.

Benefits of Venti

Anemo boy was called one of the best supports for a reason. There are many reasons for this.

Pros:

• The screed is the main advantage of the hero over Kazuha. It is more convenient and easier to use, just press one button from any distance;
• Passive - nothing special, but nice. Allows you to spend 20% less stamina when planning;
• Damage - even though Venty is a support, this does not negate the high percentage of damage in his talents. Using abilities allows you not only to pull enemies together, but also to increase the damage they receive;
• Usefulness - Venti is an excellent battery both for himself and for the whole squad.

In addition, Venti is not very picky about arts or weapons. It is enough to give him an Anemo set and joyfully look at opponents circling in the air.

Disadvantages of Venti

Even the best have flaws, and our Anemo boy is no exception:

• Screed - despite its coolness, there is a drawback in the form of throwing small opponents into the air. This is worth getting used to, but the same Hu Tao is clearly indignant;
• Bosses - Venty is practically useless against them, as well as against all big opponents.

It turns out that all the shortcomings only limit the character in some situations and units, but otherwise it is an excellent investment in the account.

Advantages of Sayno

Unfortunately, little is known about Razor 2.0, but based on his abilities and even the description of signature weapons, we can draw certain conclusions:

• Crits - Like many main DPS, Sayno gets a boost to Crit. Damage when elevated. This opens up opportunities for more budget builds and allows you to pay attention to the search for Crete. Chance;
• Dendro - like Neela, the character is released for more interaction with the new element. This will open up many new combinations to play with Tignari and other characters;
• Strong skills - elemental skill cd is only 7,5 seconds, and during the ult - 3 seconds. We can say that this is Electro DD Bennet with constants, but multiplied by 10;
• Ultimate - Increases Saino's elemental mastery and immunity to interrupts.

It is worth noting the high AoE damage - even though Sayno seems fragile, he can scatter entire packs of opponents.

Disadvantages of Sayno

The character is partially spoiled by HoYoverse's pursuit of popularizing a new element:

• Dendro - Since Saino is designed to play with this element, he is strongly associated with mastery of the elements. To do this, you will have to sacrifice some artifacts and be more attentive to the assembly;
• Ultimate - effective, but expensive: 80 units of energy. This shortcoming will again affect the quality of art and the presence of Crit in them. Chance/Elemental Mastery/Energy Recovery;
• The main disadvantage is that Sayno is definitely not suitable for beginners. To ascend it, you will need resources from the Desert and from the fern from Sumeru, which are not available at low ranks.

Dependence on quality artifacts can also play a trick on players below rank 45.

Is it worth spinning Sayno?

The answer is simpler than it seems, but for this you need to divide into two camps:

Sayno is worth spinning if: you have a charged Dendro character like Tignari or Collei, your rank is 45+ and you have closed at least the Rift to start traveling to Sumeru, you lack a powerful main DPS.

Saino should not be twisted if: you want to knock Venty or Neela/Albedo in the second half, rank below 45 and no good Dendro heroes, afraid that the hero will show himself poorly, do not like playing through Overload/Charged.

On the other hand, Venti, who is not always needed for an account. Such cases include: top Sucrose, at least with C4-C6, or the presence of Kazuha on the account. If there are any, it is worth returning to Sayno.

All in all, Venti's relevance and reputation clearly outweigh Electro Boy on the scale of value. At the moment, while the character has not been tested in the Abyss and only "leaks and ability descriptions" are known, the priorities can be set as follows:

Venti > Saino > Elegy of Doom > Scarlet Sands Staff

If you knocked out Venty, feel free to turn the weapon with a course towards Elegy. With Saino, it's different - if you knocked out the Electro boy, pay attention to Venti, and only then to the Staff of Scarlet Sands. Venti without a signal isn't so bad, but Saino might need it.

As always, HoYoverse released a banner that leaves players torn apart. The only consolation is the anniversary with 20+ spins. Particularly lucky ones can not only knock out the character they need, but also replenish the collection with weapons or even the second hero of the banner.

Saino, on the other hand, is a little scary with his attachment to Dendro. Not many have entered the game through this reaction, therefore the probability of refusal will be higher. They add fuel to the fire of Nile and Albedo, who are already breathing in the back of the heroes of our article. And there they promised Raiden in 3.2 ... and Eola with Ayaka ... and Scaramucci ...

In any case, Venti is a great investment in your account that will not let you forget about yourself. For many, he never left the squads in the Abyss for almost 2 years, is this not an indicator?

If you really want Saino, wait a week, watch a video on YouTube, save up some twists, and then you can definitely decide whether you need it.

If you play for the sake of visuals and character design, then both are good. Choose with your soul and remember that the game is primarily a pleasure, not a pursuit of numbers.
