Apex Legends Timed Event "Fight or Fear"

Darkness descends on Kings Canyon and it's time for Shadows, a twisted version of the Apex Games orchestrated by a mysterious figure.

At the start of a match, you and 34 other solo players will drop into the eerily lit Kings Canyon and fight to the death... with one small condition. When you die, you are reborn in the ranks of a powerful army of the dead, called the squad of shadows.

By joining the Shadow Squad, you will lose the ability to use the weapons and skills of your legend, but in return you will be much faster in moving and jumping, as well as inflicting powerful melee attacks. In addition, you can climb walls and respawn an unlimited number of times by re-dropping.

The battle will continue until ten living legends remain, who will then have to join forces and get to the rescue ship. Meanwhile, the Shadow Squad will have to stop their escape at all costs.

Complete event challenges to earn exclusive Fight or Fear cosmetic items, including two legendary weapon skins

During the Fight or Fear event, you can complete a variety of challenges and receive free exclusive skins, skins, emblems, and music packs.

Premium cosmetic items available during the event

The Fight or Fear Collection Event features 24 new themed items available for a limited time. We're committed to giving players the ability to choose how they obtain in-game items, so for this event, we've reworked the system for earning premium cosmetic items.

All 24 items in the Fight or Fear Collector's Event will be available from day one to purchase directly, craft, or find in Event Apex Packs.

We've also removed the Event Currency from the Event Apex Packs and replaced it with additional loot. This means that players will receive even more items from each Event Apex Pack in total. There are never duplicates in sets. To further immerse yourself in the spooky atmosphere, each character skin from the Fight or Fear Collector's Event comes with two themed Taunts.

The following non-event item categories will be available to you: weapon skins, legend skins, legend executions, banner borders, banner poses, banner stats, match start taunts, kill taunts, precious metals.

We have also changed the way the new relic is obtained during the preview period. If you unlock all 24 possible items from the Fight or Fear Collector's Packs during the event, you will receive a Lifeline Heirloom Set for free. If you are unable to unlock a new Heirloom Set before the event ends, you will be able to receive the set as a bonus item from Apex Packs after the event ends.

Double XP for finishing in the top XNUMX or winning the weekend

From October 20 at 00:25 AM PT until October 20 at 00:28 AM ET, players will earn double XP for finishing in the top XNUMX and winning. The bonus applies to both overall account level and Battle Pass progress.

• Emblems, Skins, and Event Trial Music Pack belong to the exclusive items of the event.

Is it possible to get a set of Lifeline relics from sets any like during the "Fight or Fear" collectible event?

During the event, the Lifeline Relic Set can only be obtained directly by completing the full Fight or Fear collection. It will not be in the Fight or Fear Collector's Event packs.

When does opening Apex Packs count towards a guaranteed Relic Pack?

Opening an Apex Pack only counts towards the 500 Apex Pack opening limit before earning a Bonus Heirloom Set when there are eligible Heirloom Sets among the bonus items available in the Apex Packs.
