All killstreaks in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2
Killstreaks in Modern Warfare 2 will be essential to maximizing your total kills and getting a match win, so here is a full rundown of all available killstreaks.
Those who played the earlier parts will be familiar with this system. And for those who do not know what it is, we are happy to explain and reveal the details of all the killing streaks in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
While weapons, perks, and field upgrades are important aspects of Modern Warfare 2, it wouldn't be a Call of Duty game without the killstreak.
These deadly tools reward you for scoring enough objective points and kills, giving you the ability to use your advantage and crush your enemies.
However, since you will have to choose three killstreaks before each match, and there are 19 in total, it is important that you are familiar with each option.
So let's check out every kill streak available to you in Modern Warfare 2 and the specific ones sold in Buy Stations in Warzone 2.
All kills in Modern Warfare 2
UAV (UAV) - 4 kills / 500 points
The classic UAV is, of course, available as an assassin in Modern Warfare 2. Once activated, the UAV flies high above the play space, revealing enemy locations on the minimap every few seconds to all squad members until it needs to refuel.
Bomb Drone - 4 kills / 500 points
The Bomb Drone is a user-controlled drone with a C4 attached to it, allowing you to scout buildings for potential enemies and blow up any opponents in your path.
Counter UAV - 5 kills / 625 points
As the name suggests, Counter-UAV kills any enemy UAV, as well as other tools that use the mini-map to display information.
Care Package - 5 kills / 625 points
If you're looking to add a bit of randomness to your Modern Warfare 2 experience, the Package is the way to go. Upon activating this killstreak, your operative receives a dispatch marker to throw or place down.
Simply put, the perk sends a random killstreak to your location.
Cluster Mine - 5 kills / 625 points
A brand new killstreak for Modern Warfare 2, the Cluster Mine will automatically detect enemy players in a short radius and send one of four mines up.
The explosion radius allows you to destroy a small group of tightly packed enemies.
Precision Airstrike - 6 kills / 750 points
Gives you the ability to call in two fighters to strike accurately at your chosen position.
Cruise Missile - 6 kills / 750 points
Much like the iconic Predator missile, the cruise missile can be piloted to target specific enemies or blast kills against other enemies in the air.
Mortar Strike - 6 kills / 750 points
The mortar strike is applied using a laser pointer and causes several artillery shells to penetrate a circular zone in an explosive barrier.
SAE - 7 kills / 875 points
Described by the developers as a "super precision airstrike", the SAE killstreak drops explosives that destroy any enemy, killstreak, or equipment.
Sentry Gun - 7 kills / 875 points
An AI-controlled weapon, the Sentinel Turret scans nearby enemies and showers them with fiery bullets.
This killstreak is perfect for zone control or a choke point that opponents want to get through.
VTOL Jet - 8 kills / 1 points
Veterans of Modern Warfare 2 know well the power of the deadly VTOL. After calling it to strike a specific area with the tablet, VTOL Jet will drop two sets of bombs, dealing massive damage in a wide target area.
Overwatch Helo - 8 kills / 1 points
Overwatch Helo is a powerful kill streak similar to the Attack Helicopter from previous games. However, in Modern Warfare 2 it follows relatively close behind your operative and pings enemy locations.
Wheelson-HS - 8 kills / 1,000 points
The Wheelson-HS is a mobile sentry that has a variety of offensive and naval capabilities. Equipped with a lethal mini-turret, the player-controlled killstreak can make it easier for any opponent he encounters.
Stealth Bomber - 10 kills / 1 points
The Stealth Bomber, as the name implies, is an explosive kill streak that enemies can't see. Capable of covering the map with countless explosions, it's worth adding to your selection.
Chopper Gunner - 10 kills / 1,250 Score
This killstreak gives you the ability to control a helicopter armed with a turret and air-to-ground missiles.
Special Cargo (Emergency Airdrop) - 10 kills / 1 points
Why call for one help pack when you can get three at once? Allows you to send a package with three random killstreaks to your location.
Support aircraft (Gunship) - 12 kills / 1 points
By far the most powerful custom-controlled aerial killstreak in Modern Warfare 2, Gunship features laser tracking missiles that can take out other killstreaks, vehicles, or large groups of enemies.
Not only that, the 40mm cannon is perfect for destroying vehicles as well if a missile is not available.
Advanced UAV - 12 kills / 1 points
Once activated, the Advanced UAV reveals all enemy locations to you and all allies, and also shows which direction those enemies are facing. It is active as long as the standard UAV is active.
Juggernaut - 15 kills / 1,875 points
The Juggernaut provides Operatives with a heavy armor suit complete with a minigun. This weapon has the highest damage per second of any weapon in the game.
Keep in mind that after the Juggernaut dies, this weapon becomes available with any remaining bullets, making it a reliable weapon in anyone's hands.
All killstreaks in Warzone 2
Unlike Modern Warfare 2, killstreaks cannot be earned by racking up killstreaks. Instead, players must purchase them at Buying Stations for a certain amount of money earned in a match.
Currently only UAV и Precision Airstrike have been introduced as options to purchase in the gameplay we've seen, but perhaps more will be added in the future.
So, that's everything you need to know about Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 killstreaks.
