Encounter with Faruzan in Genshin Impact is a Legends Quest in which you will have to choose a variety of answers as part of communication with the characters, make various decisions and complete simple tasks to unlock all available endings.
As you reach the new endings, you will receive valuable rewards, including Source Stones, additional paintings for the Kettle of Serenity, and Hero Ascension Materials. In this guide, you will learn about all the choices and actions that you need to make to unlock the entire story.
How to start and complete meetings with Faruzan
You will be able to take on this quest line if you meet a number of requirements, namely:
- Have at least Adventure Rank 40. Our separate article provides tips for quickly increasing this parameter.
- Complete the Archons quest titled "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises", which is the 5th chapter of Volume III of the main storyline.
- Complete the Legends of Tignari quest "Unanswered Questions", which is the 1st chapter of his "Fenech" story.
- Prepare 2 Legend Keys by completing exactly 16 Daily Quests (only 4 such missions can be completed per day). We add that at the same time you can have no more than 3 keys with you, so it will not be possible to save them in reserve.
Having dealt with all the above conditions, open the "Legend Quests" window and go to the "Meetings" category. There, find the necessary heroine and unlock the meeting with her.
In this guide, you will not find a detailed description of absolutely all the events that take place within the framework of this task, since we do not want to spoil your impression of completing it on your own. We will only indicate the key forks, actions and decisions with which you can open different endings. Keep in mind that you don't have to start the entire line from scratch to unlock each ending. You can easily go to any fork you need in the "Meeting: Faruzan" window. In addition, since the release of version 2.2, the game now indicates the options you previously selected.
Note: Let's add that during a conversation with Faruzan, you will surely notice a scale consisting of white hearts in the upper right corner - it shows the level of the researcher's attitude towards the player. Its size does not affect the unlocking of the endings, but if it drops to zero, the meeting will immediately end, forcing you to return to the last fork reached. Hearts can disappear due to rude behavior or choosing the wrong answers.
How to complete the Encounter with Faruzan (Intricacies) in Genshin Impact
The picture below shows all the branches of the story that lead to different endings. It gives an overview of the meeting. Next, we will take a closer look at all existing routes.
After the start of the Meeting, go to Pardis Dhyay, located in Sumeru, and find Tignari there. Talk to him. He will ask you to accompany Kollei, who is to go to Faruzan and remind her of the meeting. You can choose any replicas here, as this will not affect the development of the story and the relationship of the characters.
Next, head to the Academy, located in the capital of the Dendro region. After teleporting to the eastern fast travel point, a cutscene involving Faruzan will immediately begin. Talk to the professor. Again, you can choose any answers.
This prologue is the same for all endings, but starting with the "Academic Problem" junction, a plot branching occurs. All possible branches are considered below.
Ending 1: Stories from the Past
