In Mystic Moss Gardens: Book 2, you will find several scrolls throughout your journey through the forest. Here's how and where to find each scroll in this level of the game.
No. 1 - Under the roof
The first scroll can be found in the second part of the Gardens. To the left of the green area you will see a small brick building. Press the L2 or R2 buttons to grab the block with the controller, and then pull it towards you. This will reveal a small tunnel behind where the block was. Now ask Quill to run behind you and get the first scroll in the previously unreachable room.
#2 - Hidden near the swings.
Swinging is fun, but even better is finding the next scroll. You will see red spikes around the area. Chop them to remove these obstacles from the path. Jump onto the first platform and run behind you to get to the beginning of the next section. Climb up the vine on the right, take out the red spikes and jump onto the swing. You will need to grab it and move it to the right so the tiny mouse Quill can jump and stand on it. Now quickly move it to the left so that she gets to the other side. After that, create vines that Quill can climb. Climb up and then stop in front of the exit. Walk down and you will see a hole that reaches a small area on the right with a green glow. Jump down to get the second scroll.
#3 - Use Your New Switching Opportunities
You can find the third scroll in the room where you get the new switch ability. There is a statue with a blue stone. From the statue, go left to the platform with the rope thrown over it. Then go up to where the hill is. You can travel by holding the square button, pressing the Pen button with the R2 button, and pressing the square again. To the right of the stem you will see a passage further up the hill. Move there with your new power and go up the hill to get the third scroll.
#4 - Combat Encounter
After you go to the left of the room with the big gate, you will come across some nasty bugs. However, this is somewhat different. You will need to roll centipedes in different directions, like in a pinball game. When you see golden enemies on a higher platform, you will see a way to roll them over the hills next to them. Press the L2 or R2 button to grab them, pull them back and release them in the right direction.
They will be taken out one by one. For the golden enemy ahead, roll the centipede into the hole north of you. After this battle is resolved, a blue activation hole will appear. Insert the centipede into it to unlock the log. Pick up the log and have Quill ride it up to get the fourth scroll at the back of the room.
#5 - Spin the seesaw
In the room immediately after the meeting, you will find a swing that swings vertically over a pool of water. Take out the red vines with your sword and go down to the lower floor, hitting the grass as you walk to the other side. Climb up the green vine on the left side and approach the purple device. Cut it to change the swing direction to a horizontal movement. After Quill lands on the swing after jumping towards it, pick it up on the top left platform of the area. You will see a green scroll at this location and Quill can easily jump down and grab it.
#6 - Past the swings
In the previous part of the greenhouse, there is a swing covered with grass. Head to the left side of the swing and jump over it, keeping R2 on the swing and moving it around. You will find a green scroll at the top of the stairs in the background of the area.
#7 – Near the mighty mouse statue.
You will find the seventh scroll behind an epic winged mouse statue in the grass. There is a fight going on here that might distract you from finding this collectible. Approach the exit on the left and you will see a hidden passage on the right. Go through the grass and on the edge on the right you will find a lime green scroll.
#8 – Outside in the garden
You will find the last scroll outside near the locked gate. Head two areas to the left of the greenhouse entrance and then go north. Once you're in the locked gate area, jump onto the higher platform on the right. Then form a grass bridge from right to left, and then when you cross, make a bridge in the opposite direction to the platform that is to the north. You can take the last scroll from this location.
