What is padding or armor trim in Minecraft 1.20
Armor Trims are a way to visually customize your armor in an open world game. They allow you to change color and design with overlays, adding flair and showcasing the places you have traveled to.
Each has its own design and each ore adds a different color, providing full customization and a beautiful look every time.
How to make custom armor in Minecraft
To customize your armor, you will need to get hold of three things:
- Armor finishing
- Ore
- Piece of armor to customize
The armor itself can be crafted normally, while the trims (pads) must be found and are usually located in conspicuous places, although we have all the locations and recipes listed below. As for ores, the color of your armor set will depend on the ore you are using. There are a total of ten different possible ores, so there are ten possible colors. These include:
- Hardware
- Copper
- Gold
- Lapis
- Emerald
- Diamond
- Netherite
- Redstone
- Amethyst
- Quartz
Once you have the ore, armor, and armor piece, head to the blacksmith's table and combine the three ingredients. Then your personal armor will be made.
