Back in Season 5 Chapter 2, Epic Games introduced gold bars to Fortnite Battle Royale. At the same time, they added new items and services that could be purchased with gold bars, such as exotic weapons.
Since then, gold bars and exotic weapons have remained in the game. Unfortunately, many players struggle to get gold bars as rewards are the main source of getting them. As a result, Epic has added several safes that contain gold bars and can be opened by anyone.
Safes are now back in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 and they can be found in almost every part of the map.
As you can see in the image above, there are numerous safes scattered throughout the island. They can be found in almost every named location and attraction, making them very useful for players who like to buy items and services with gold bars.
Popular locations such as Mega City and Pleasant Passage boast several player safes. However, no place has more Fortnite safes than Brutal Bastion. This location has a total of 11 safes, with three of them located in the center of the map.
It should be noted that this place is extremely dangerous, as it is the main flash point for hostilities and early landings. In addition to safes, brutal bastion also has a lot of chests, which is why it is so popular.
Opening Fortnite safes is an extremely easy task once you find them. You just need to get close to them and hold down the Interaction button. After a few seconds, you will receive gold bars from the safe.
Interestingly, the process of opening safes takes longer than opening chests. If you have your teammates, you can ask them to help you, as they can make the process much faster by interacting with the safe at the same time.
