All Tracks Played in Netflix Movie Project Power (Project Power)

Project power  sings the spirit of New Orleans, but the songs in the soundtrack do not quite reflect the musical flavor of the city. However, the collective music works to the film's advantage, as some of the featured songs are character-specific, while others create the gritty atmosphere of the various settings. 

Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Frank Shaver in Movie "Project Force" . A police officer investigates a flood of drug-related XNUMX calls, but also uses a mysterious drug called force that is not officially recognized by the government. Shaver gets her doses from high school student Robin (Dominique Fishbeck), who is struggling to survive and aspires to be a rapper. Jamie Fox co-stars as Art, a mysterious man who apparently knows the truth about a program designed to dehumanize US citizens. Project power was produced for approximately $85 million and received mostly positive reviews. The film effectively showcases New Orleans as a city, and the music captures the attention of a host of lesser-known musicians while paying homage to the late Nipsey Hussle. There is also a meta effect as one of the characters raps over Nipsey Hussle's beat early on and later performs a lyrical destruction of his teacher (albeit in the episode in a dream). Project power starts with Robin rhyming to the beat "Grinding All My Life" setting the tone for both the storyline and the various character arcs. After Frank rescues Robin during a street fight and fends off local villains, they ride a motorcycle to the sound of Gotta Lotta.

When Project power becomes more intense "The Maskings of You" offers to change the tempo as Robin plays the song for her mother. The track then continues with a short scene in which Art heals his wounds. As the worlds of Robin and Art collide, the "Drowning", to complement  subplot of "Alligator"  . Meanwhile, Frank travels around the city and exits the ramp under the Superdome.

"High Rises" presents is a poignant final act moment between the two characters that cites the film's openness while setting up a smaller narrative during the credits sequence. Project power on Netflix officially ends with the track "My strength".
