All Types of Fish in Season 4 Chapter 2 Fortnite
Here's a look at all the new Fortnite fish in Season 2 Chapter 4.
A new battle pass, new locations, new mythical items and a brand new set of fish along with a fishing book so players can see which fish they have caught as well as details about the fish. Season 4 has gotten off to a good start, with hints from Marvel and insider information giving hope that this could be the best season of Fortnite in a while.
Yesterday's update included many new fish, some of which are not currently available for use in the game. Let's take a look at all the new fish we know about so far.
NEW FORTNITE FISH LIST - CHAPTER 2 SEASON 4
Before we begin, we would like to ask for your help in completing this fishing log. If you have caught a fish that is not on our list, let us know in the comments below!
FISH MIDAS
There were several leaks in the weeks leading up to the start of the season. One of these was the introduction of the Midas fish. The fish was added in yesterday's update, but right now you can't get it in the game. It will probably be available in the next major update. What we do know is that once you eat the Midas fish, your entire inventory will become legendary. Here is what the fish looks like:
JUMPING FISH
Fortnite's prancing fish are basically hops. When you consume it, you gain low gravity for a short time. The maximum stack size is 3. Fish of epic rarity. Here is a look at the varieties of fish below:
VENDETTA FLOPPER FISH
As far as we know, the Vendetta flopper is not currently available for use in the game. Once this fish is eaten, the nearest enemy will be marked for you. There is no information about how long the enemy will be marked, and there is nothing to tell us how far or close the enemy must be in order to be marked. Fish have a maximum stack size of 2.
BURNING FISH
The stinging fish looks like an inflatable fish. This is rare, and once players eat it, they will gain a speed boost for a limited time, just like a pepper. You can stack a maximum of 3 of these fish. Here's a look at the varieties of Stinging Fish in Fortnite:
HEAT FISH
Once you eat the heatfish, you "see it all". You will receive a thermal imager for a limited time and will be able to see through buildings and objects. Again, these effects only last for a limited time, but we're not sure about the duration. Legendary fish with a maximum stack size of 2.
JELLYFISH
Medusa is a rare fish that immediately grants nearby players health and shields. You can keep a maximum of 3 of these. You seem to get 20 health and a shield for each jellyfish.
SHIELD FISH
Nothing special here, each shield fish eaten grants players 50 shields. Rare fish with a maximum stack size of 3.
FISH
Restore health. A large number of varieties of these fish have been added, but in fact they perform the same function of treatment.
JUMPING FISH
The most valuable fish of the last season. Restores health and shields. I would always like to have a couple of these copies in stock.
PROFESSIONAL FORTNITE ROD AND HOW TO GET IT
You can get a professional fishing rod by using the upgrade workbench and upgrading it. You can only catch rare fish with a professional rod, such as the new jellyfish or Midas fish.
It looks like there are still a lot of other fish in the game, although I'm not sure if they will be available now, because our fishing journal has 35 slots free, and this is the total number of new and old fish that need to be caught during the season. We will try to keep this article as up to date as possible.
