Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is officially open! The new season has a bunch of map changes and new features. Players can now use the new Chrome Bomb to go through buildings.
There are also keys that have been added to the game that will unlock new low and high security vaults that can be found in many locations throughout the map.
Players stumble across a new key item and find vaults all over the map, but wonder what those vaults are, what they contain, and how to open them.

What are low/high security vaults in Fortnite?
Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 are loot-filled locations that you'll encounter in a bunch of different locations across the map.
There are over ten places where you can find low and high security vaults in Fortnite. High security vaults have better loot than lower ones, but it comes at a cost, which we'll talk about later in the post.
How to open vault in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
To open a low security vault in Fortnite, you need to find a key. You will only need one to open a low security vault, but you will need two to open a high security vault.
However, as mentioned earlier, high security vaults will have larger and better loot, which makes it worthwhile to find an additional key to open them.

Once you have the keys, in order to open the vaults you will need to climb up to the keyholes you find on them and use the interact button when you see the "use key" text.
