Second Mass Content Update for RPG Encased

On April 15, the second massive content update for RPG Encased will be released, which will introduce a day and night cycle, new weapons, companions and locations.
The second major update for Encased, the early access isometric RPG, will be released today. The game will have a day and night cycle, new locations, additional quests, characters and a mysterious companion with a fox mask. The updated combat system will be more effective thanks to the updated balance and new weapons. Playthrough variability will increase with new dialogue options, an expanded skill system, and additional encounters.

The developers have significantly reworked the locations. Now they have not only a new visual design, but also new characters with additional quests, items, riddles and puzzles. Players can look forward to new random encounters, combat skirmishes against raiders, and treasure hunts.
The second content patch for Encased will bring a day/night cycle. Not only the lighting of locations will depend on the time of day, but also the behavior of some characters and available quests. Deserts filled with sun can now be plunged into darkness, and the slums at night seem even more intimidating.
The new companion, Fox, can't wait to meet the players. This is a female raider with a split personality. The hero will have to face her in the arena, and if he wins, the Fox will join the party.
In addition, the developers have significantly reworked the combat system. They not only set the balance, but also added new abilities, combat effects and perks. New weapons have also appeared: mines, grenades and a cryolaser. New weapon capabilities have also been added.
Isometric RPG Encapsulated set set in a post-apocalyptic and sci-fi world was released in Early Access in September 2019 to very positive feedback from players on Steam. At the start of Early Access, the developers shared a roadmap for the project. In December 2019, the first content patch was released. It includes a new prologue and the ability to hire an interlocutor on your journey.
Studio Dark Crystal Games has been working on the game for about two years. During this time, the game ran a successful Kickstarter campaign and won prizes in international competitions. The final release of the project is scheduled for the end of 2020.
The story of the game takes place in a desert, isolated from the world by a giant dome of mysterious origin. Beneath it are the ruins of an ancient technologically advanced civilization: underground complexes with artifacts, traps and anomalies. Encased is an open world game where you can explore individual locations for free. Each of them was created by developers manually and is full of mysteries and chance encounters.
