Riot Games has announced the final Star Guardian skin pack that will be released with patch 12.14. The next set will include six more champions, with Akali being the biggest name of all.
Either way, it's safe to say that the Star Guardian event is the biggest of the year, with an impressive amount of skins for players to enjoy. In addition, the design and quality of the skins are also top of the line, further adding to the hype for the event.
The second set of Star Guardian 2022 skins will be released with League of Legends patch 12.14 around July 26th.
Along with the second set, Akali, Rell, Quinn, Thalia, Morgana and Syndra will be the champions to compete. Fans should know a few things about skins beforehand.
First, Syndra already has a skin Star Guardians, which was released with the event a few years ago. However, this time she will get a Prestige Edition skin with all the features of Prestige 2.0.
Secondly, the Thalia skin will be part of Riot Games' fundraising initiative. This means that all proceeds from this skin will be donated to charity if players purchase it before August 29, 2022.
This is not the first League of Legends donation to charity. Previously, profits from the Olaf skin were donated to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund during the Sentinels of Light event.
Finally, it's important to note that the Akali skin will be legendary rarity, just like the Kai'Sa skin from the first half. Other skins, except for version SYndra Prestige, will have epic rarity.
