Blogger Battle is back in World of Tanks.

The rules remain unchanged: four teams of players, led by famous bloggers, will compete in a special 7vs7 mode to determine the strongest.

Briefly about the game event

⋅ The Blogger Battle 2021 event includes four teams of players, each headed by two famous bloggers. Teams will fight in a special 7vs7 mode. This year bloggers are participating in the battle for supremacy:

- Near_You и Evil_Granny
⋅ Join one of the blogging teams from January 29, 9:00 (Moscow time) to February 5, 1:00 (Moscow time) directly in the game client.
⋅ To earn points for your team, take part in 7v7 battles on Tier X vehicles on a certain set of maps with a separate balancer.
⋅ You can also complete special combat missions in random battles on Tier IV–X vehicles and earn personal progression points as a reward.
⋅ During the game event there will be two types of progression: personal and team. Each has its own set of awards.
⋅ The main prizes of the event (for personal and team progression) await players in the first ten stages of the team progression. You can get two unique commanders with the looks and voice acting of your favorite bloggers, a great 2D style and other unique visual elements.
⋅ After you reach level 10 of the team progression and earn all the main rewards, you will be able to receive additional awards up to level 30.
⋅ You can claim rewards in the game client until February 8, 2:00 (UTC).

Rules for 7 vs 7 battles

On each side of such confrontations there will be players representing a particular pair. Accordingly, in a single battle, units from two different teams will fight.

The event offers oncoming fights on level 10 vehicles (researchable and collectible) with a duration of 10 minutes. A victory will bring the player 5 points, in case of defeat, the place by experience among teammates will be taken into account. Entering the TOP-3, TOP-5 and TOP-7 will give 3, 2 and 1 points respectively.

Awards

Getting points in the Battle of Bloggers allows you to increase your personal and team level. Each stage of personal progression (up to level 30) will bring you:

Key rewards for active contribution to the team struggle, as well as for personal growth, are issued in the first 10 stages. The best of them are designed in the style of favorite bloggers:

individual 2D style;
two commanders with the appropriate appearance and voice acting;
original decals, a commemorative medal, a background for a personal badge and other elements.

All visual customization elements for vehicles will be available for gold in the game client even before February 9th.

Commander skills for BB

All participants of the Battle of Bloggers will receive unique commanders for their crews. The recruits will "Sixth Sense" as a zero skill. Also, 3 additional skills or abilities will open for the winning team, commanders with two and one perk on top of the light bulb will be given to the second and third place, and the losers will get the basic characters as a consolation prize.

Rental equipment

For those who do not have level 10 vehicles that can comfortably earn points, there are rental tanks. It will be possible to enter them only in a 7vs7 battle. All players who registered in the event will receive the first rental car. As the team progression accumulates, there will be more of them:

Skills

Bloggers can have a direct impact on the course of the battle by activating various skills. In comparison with previous battles, a new skill "Decisive Offensive" has been added, replacing "Tactical Tricks".

Each skill is active for only 1 hour. You can launch them at any time, twice a day ("Front Attack" is available once). Two skills cannot work at the same time

Bonus for laggards

The Battle of the Bloggers is a tense event during which the winner can only be revealed on the last day of confrontations. Wargaming will support healthy competition by giving a personal bonus to the lagging team. It is activated on the second day of the event. The next 10 fights for current losers will be doubled. The bonus remains with the team even if it has risen to third place or higher.
