The Carro d'assalto P.88 is a versatile and agile vehicle that fights effectively on any map. It is better protected than the same-tier medium tanks, which will make you feel more confident in close combat. It is also the only new Italian heavy tank without a modified reloading system.

Progetto CC55 mod. 54

This is the most mobile tank among Italian heavy vehicles. It instantly picks up speed and is highly maneuverable. Thanks to this Progetto CC55 mod. 54 can quickly change flank or quickly take an advantageous position. An attempt to spin this Italian will end in failure.

Progetto C50 mod. 66

This tank is designed to crush the enemy in close to medium range combat. To do this, the Progetto C50 mod. 66 has everything you need: decent frontal armor, a powerful 120mm gun with good HP and impressive one-time damage even compared to Tier X vehicles.

And the Progetto C50 mod. 66 has an improved reloading system for three projectiles, each of which deals 400 damage.

New cars, new mechanics

The mechanism for reloading the shells of new heavy tanks is similar to the same devices installed on Italian STs.

The first projectile charges the slowest of all, and the last one the fastest. The difference becomes noticeable after the start of shooting. If a tank opens fire while reloading, it receives bonus to loading the next projectilemaking up for wasted time. The longer the projectile was loaded and the less time left until the end of its loading, the greater the bonus.

The bonus starts accumulating automatically 2 seconds after reloading. You will see it on the first of four special indicators. The second indicator will show what you have 16% reload bonus. The third indicator will work when the bonus reaches 33%. Two seconds before the end of loading the projectile, the last indicator will appear, indicating that you have maximum 50% reload bonus. When the bonus reaches its maximum, a special sound notification will sound.

This mechanic does not increase damage per minute, but helps in a situation where every projectile and every second is critical. For example, if you need to immediately finish off an enemy tank, but there is not enough time to wait for the reload to complete.

Rhino

The crown of the heavy tank branch is a Tier X vehicle called Rinoceronte, which translates from Italian as rhino. The turret of an unusual shape, designed for three crew members, gives the tank a resemblance to this animal. It is well protected and allows you to play effectively off the terrain. This is facilitated by the excellent UVN of the gun installed in it.

The Rinoceronte is equipped with a 127 mm gun. It has one of the best armor penetration rates among heavy tanks with its main armor-piercing sub-caliber projectile - 268 mm. In addition, this projectile has a high flight speed.

The Rinoceronte is a mobile vehicle that can easily spearhead an attack on the flank along with medium tanks. "Italian" quickly picks up speed and keeps it well at the maximum level. But the “Rhino” is not very good at moving back, it’s not such an animal to retreat.

Exclusive appearance elements

Special combat missions for random battles (including general battles) and the Battle of Bloggers 2021 events will help you quickly master the game on Italian heavy tanks.

They will become available after the release of update 1.11.1. The reward for completing them will be four sets of appearance elements, whose design is inspired by the legendary legionnaires of ancient Rome.

For each new tank, four sets of missions will be available, which can be completed on the Bisonte C45 premium vehicle, as well as on the Rinoceronte. The reward for passing them will be set of unique exterior elements on a Roman theme, consisting of emblems, inscriptions and decals.

By completing the task for Rinoceronte, you can get a magnificent Turtle 2D style, depicting the shields of Roman legionnaires.
