World of Warcraft: Dragonflight - Leaks straight from Blizzard
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, the next expansion in the popular MMO franchise, appears to have been leaked in an accidental source code leak on Blizzard's website.
World of Warcraft players have been waiting for the announcement of the next expansion for a long time.
There have been several ideas about a release date, plot, and setting, but nothing has been revealed yet.
However, that appears to have changed on Saturday, April 2nd after the community noticed source code lines on the website that link to what appears to be the next expansion, World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
According to reports Wow head, a recent website update inadvertently leaked source code lines relating to three pre-release versions of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, including Base, Heroic, and Epic.
The same lines of source code also referred to a new URL, dragonflight.blizzard.com.
It is currently inactive but seems to be linked to a potential expansion, presumably as a place to pre-purchase it.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, so take these leaks with a grain of salt. However, the official announcement occurs on April 19 - which confirms Blizzard. This way we will know if the leaks are true.
It also may not be the only expansion to happen in the near future. In the poll, Blizzard also teased the World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic, leading the community to believe it might be under development.
