Yu Gi Oh! Cross Duel - a list of the best aces of the game
In this guide, we'll take a look at which Aces in Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel is at the top of the game meta.
Yu Gi Oh! Cross Duel combines some old and familiar elements with innovative mechanics, including Aces that always appear in your opening hand.
Our tier list will provide you with the best Aces in Yu Gi Oh! Cross Duel. The maps below are current meta-breakers that have already shown impressive results.
Ace S-Tier Cards
Z-metal tank
The current undisputed leader of the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Cross Duel meta is the Z-Metal Tank.
This monster ace has three effects that trigger when summoned, including an automatic win of 200 ATK and 200 DEF, as well as one random skill.
If you activate its cohesion effect, you will receive the same stat bonuses. For each of your summoned monsters, and if you are fighting a raid boss, then your ATK is increased by another 500 points.
But the main advantage is, of course, immunity to damage, which can be a big problem for your opponents.
Mage Gagaga
This dark caster has a similar stat boost when summoned as the Z-Metal Tank, but in addition to that, all other monsters you have summoned also gain 200 ATK.
There is also a neat synergy with spell cards. Wherever you activate one, you get another 300 ATK and 300 DEF, but only on your Ace monster.
Finally, Mage Gagagi has Immune to Deny effects. If it is destroyed, it returns to your hand with a negation effect applied to all of its skills.
A-Tier Ace Cards
Strange pendulum dragon eyes
Pendulum cards are definitely very powerful and this Dragon Ace is no exception as it can use pendulum scaleto grant a bonus of 800 ATK and 800 DEF to all your summoned monsters with your special skill.
He also possesses immune to various bounce effects, which will return it to your hand, which can be really annoying for your opponents.
If you play it in raid mode, then you can play Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon without any summoning materials.
Blue-eyed white dragon
A lot of Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel Players love this card for the simple reason that when summoned, it destroys any other enemy monster. It's super effective and simple, making it a definite favorite of many players.
This light dragon also has the Crusher ability, which not only damages monsters, but their controller as well, once that monster has been destroyed. It's like hitting two birds with one stone.
Also, Raid players will be surprised to see that this dragon gains an extra 2000 ATK and 2000 DEF when summoned.
Ace B-Tier Cards
Elementary HERO Neos
Neos is a powerful warrior who has reliable protection from destructive influences. It's not immune like the Z-Metal Tank, but instead of going to the graveyard, it returns to your hand.
At the same time, Neos gets the effect Quick Call, which allows you to summon it again from your hand, using one less summoning material. But there is one catch: in the process, he loses 1000 ATK and 1000 Def. What's better than just losing one of your most important cards in the game.
firewall dragon
The Firewall Dragon is a pretty happy fusion of several other dragons. For example, it has the same Crusher ability as Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the same immunity to bounce effects as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
But what sets Firewall Dragon apart from the rest is the fact that it monster LINK, making it synergistic with other LINK monsters.
Once you summon a Firewall Dragon, it will gain one of the following attributes, depending on the number of other LINK monsters on the field or in your graveyard:
- Immunities: Repositioning (1x).
- Super Speed (2x/3x).
- Return the monster to your hand (4x).
Multi-Strike Dragon Dragias
Dragias is the only other Ace monster on our list that possesses immune to damaging effects, except for Z-Metal Tank.
While his ability to buff your other monsters is useful, it's a little lackluster.
Its Intimidate effect can be quite interesting for many players who like to play mind games with their opponents. This skill causes the enemy monster to switch from its attacking stance to its defensive stance. It may not seem like much, but it is definitely interesting!
