Hall of Herodiana Walkthrough Hogwarts Legacy

Herodian's Hall is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all the Hall of Herodian quests.

How to get started: Hall of Herodiana

To start the quest, you need to speak with Sophronia Franklin. You'll find her in the Astronomy Wing, where she's standing and looking at a painting on the wall directly opposite the flying flame in the spell classroom.

Side quests are not required to advance in the main story of the game, but completing them can still be useful in order to receive Rewards for completing them. These quests sometimes serve as tutorials for new activities and may contain some lore or backstory to the Harry Potter universe.

Head to the Fireplace Room of the Spell Classroom in the Astronomy Wing to find Sophronia Franklin.

The map will show you exactly where to go to start the quest. Go down to the first floor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower. The quest marker will lead you to a wall with a secret door leading to Herodiana's Hall.

Use the Depulso spell on the ornamental button on the wall to open the hidden entrance door. It only takes two spells to complete, and there are no combat elements during this quest.

Spell Requirements:

• Accio unlocked during the main quest Spell class
  • Complete: Welcome to Hogsmeade
• Depulso, unlock during Professor Sharp's quest 1 quest
  • Requirement: Complete the main quest: Rest jackdaws

We can divide the quest into three puzzle steps. The main mechanic of this puzzle is to move large glowing blocks in order to be able to travel around the area.

How to solve the first puzzle in Herodian's Hall?

The first solution Puzzle in the Hall of Herodiana is a simple textbook and introduction to mechanics.

To push blocks, apply Depulso on the marked side of the block, and to pull them out, use the spell Accio on the opposite side. Remember not to stand in the way of the block because the puzzle will be reset. However, if you want to reset the puzzle, throw a basic attack on the spinning globe.

To solve the first Herodian Hall puzzle:

• Activate Depulso on the blocks and press them against the back of the wall
• Climb up the blocks and onto the upper platform to reach the next chamber
• Open the chest with the first piece of the Unique Signature Outfit Herodian.

To get the secret of breast solution:

• On the left side of the entrance is a "pocket", a raised platform in the wall with a chest.
• Throw it up Depulso from the opposite side to push the blocks towards the entrance.
• Throw it up Depulso again to send blocks towards the chest. Climb up to get the loot.

Now you can go to the next chamber and get your loot in the unique Cape of Herodiana.

How to solve the second puzzle in Herodiana's Hall

To solve this puzzle, you need to move two blocks that can join together. Remember that you can always reset the puzzle by throwing a basic attack on the spinning orb.

I marked in the pictures the side where you need to cast the following spells: "A" - Accio or "D" Depulso.

To get the secret chest puzzle:

1. We start from the entrance (Figure 1)
2. Moving two blocks to the left (Figure 1)
3. Push one block towards the exit (picture 1)
4. Use Accioto pull two connected blocks towards you and the entrance (picture 2)
5. Pull two connected blocks to the right wall (picture 2)
6. Again, pull the two connected blocks towards you and the entrance, a little closer (Figure 2)
7. Throw it up Accio one block to move it to the right side (picture 2)
8. Push one block to the exit wall with Depulso (picture 2)
9. Move one block to the left with a spell Accio (picture 3)
10. Pull one block toward you while saying again Accio spell (picture 3)
11. Moving two blocks to the left (Figure 3)

You should now be able to climb up the blocks and reach the hidden chest above the chamber entrance.

To solve the second Herodian Hall puzzle:

1. We are moving to the exit, and now we are looking at the entrance (Figure 4)
2. take a piss Accio on one block to the exit wall (Figure 4)
3. Cast Accio on two connected blocks to the exit wall (Figure 4)
4. Pull one block towards the left wall (picture 4)
5. Pull the two connected blocks towards the left wall (picture 4)

Climb up the blocks to reach the balcony and the next piece of Herodiana's signature outfit will be yours. Let's move on to the last puzzle.

How to solve the third puzzle in Herodiana's Hall

The last puzzle will require a reset, just like before we start at the entrance. The last steps are more difficult.

1. We start from the entrance (Figure 1)
2. The applications Accio for pulling blocks to the right wall (picture 1)
3. Use again Accioto bring the blocks closer to you and the entrance (Figure 1)
4. Pull the blocks towards the middle (picture 2)
5. Cast Depulsoto send blocks to the back wall near the exit (picture 2)
6. Jump on the middle stone blocks to see the whole camera
7. Push the blocks against the right wall with using the Depulso spell (picture 3)
8. Pull it up to the stone block with the rotating sphere (picture 3)
9. Cast an Accio spell to move it to the left (picture 3)
10. Overlay Depulsoto get a secret chest (picture 3)

After getting the chest loot, reset the puzzle by throwing a basic attack on the spinning orb.

Solve the third Hall of Herodian Herodia

1. We start again from the entrance (Figure 4)
2. Pull the blocks up to the right wall, casting Accio (picture 4)
3. Throw it up Depulso and push it towards you and the stone block with the rotating sphere (picture 4)
4. Jump on the middle stone blocks to see the whole camera
5. Use Accio for pulling blocks to the left wall (Figure 4)
6. At this point you should be able to use the moving blocks to jump on the hanging two stone blocks in the middle of the chamber. Now we will cast spells from there. (picture 5)
7. Use Accioto move blocks all the way to the exit. (picture 5)
8. Throw Accio one last time to pull the blocks closer to you and the left wall. (picture 5)
9. Jump on the blocks to get the last chest and a piece of Herodiana's signature outfit. (picture 5)

Now that you have all the pieces, you can leave Herodiana's Hall, return to Sophronia Franklin, and tell her of your adventure and discovery. The quest ends and you gain experience and relationship progress.
