Phasmophobia update coming tomorrow
The long-promised VR overhaul for Phasmophobia is coming tomorrow.
tweet confirmed the news todayspecifying that the update will go live at 11:00 UTC on April 7th. Phasmophobia has always had VR support alongside its basic flat screen version, but this update promises to make that support more detailed and thoughtful.

As we learned last month, the updates include improved hand modeling and item placement, as well as a tool selection UI. There is also support for seated play and left-handed mode, as well as simulated crouching. Developer Kinetic Games says there's more to come, so expect to see a more complete changelog when the update goes live. In the meantime, you can see a first look at what's coming in the tweet below.

Phasmophobia is still in early access, but each new update brings it closer to a full launch. We can't help but wonder if improved VR support could also mean we get a Quest version of the game sometime in the future. And of course, we'll keep our fingers crossed for a possible PSVR 2 version.
