Golden Mushroom Fortnite: Where to Find the Rarest Item in the Game

Epic Games is no stranger to including rare items in Fortnite. In the middle of last month, we saw Bud the Mushroom briefly added to the game. In the second season we saw the Mythical Goldfish. Now the Golden Mushroom has a chance to appear in the game for the lucky one.
If you consume the Golden Mushroom, you can immediately gain 100 shields. Upon collecting it, it reverts to its standard mushroom form, which only grants the player five shield points. Let's say you're lucky enough to find this rare item. If so, then you are incredibly lucky in this game and immediately take it to your inventory
Location of Golden Mushroom in Fortnite
The Golden Mushroom is a rare occurrence in Fortnite. It has a chance to spawn in any of the normal mushroom spawn locations. The probability of its appearance is 0,0001% or 1/10. It is not realistic to determine in advance the place where the golden mushroom will grow, because it is completely random.
Popular Fortnite streamer and content creator SypherPK recently uploaded a YouTube video detailing their search for the elusive Golden Mushroom.
There are several different places where groups of mushrooms can appear. Some areas include a zone north of Mountain Town. Many of the previous mushroom locations no longer exist due to the flooded island, but if you did manage to find one, let us know in the comments below and we'll make a special map where we'll mark all the spawn locations for the extremely rare mushroom!
