Angry Birds for Magic Leap One, an impressive augmented reality puzzle game.

Developers from the Finnish studio Rovio have announced their flagship action game Angry Birds for the possibility of playing in augmented reality using one of the most promising devices on the market, Magic Leap One. One is the first commercially available mixed reality headset. As a result, this led to the birth of a new title - Angry Birds: FPS (short for First Person Slingshot).

In the game, you are given an array of colorful anthropomorphic birds and a slingshot, and the goal is to throw your feathered friends into elaborate wooden or stone structures to pull out the green pigs. Although this time the structures, birds and slingshots look like virtual and interactive 3D objects that exist in the real world.

Although the game runs in AR, Angry Birds: FPS has not been announced for the iPhone with ARKit. The Magic Leap headset has more space scanning capabilities, so it will be more difficult to implement this on mobile devices.

The release date has not yet been announced, the final version of the game will be shown on October 9 at a special conference for Magic Leap developers.[irp]
