Cyberpunk 2077 has dropped from the Top Most Downloaded Games on the PS Store
Sony has revealed the list of the most downloaded games for PS4 and PS5 in July 2021. Interestingly, Cyberpunk 2077, which returned to the PS Store on June 24, did not even make it into the TOP20.
Sony has published a list of the most downloaded games for PS4 and PS5 in July 2021. FIFA 21 reigns supreme on them – EA’s “Football” took first place not only on PlayStation 4 but also in Europe. In addition, console owners often downloaded GTA 5 and Minecraft. Also popular were Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and the very recent Tribes of Midgard, and for starters Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and F1 2021. You can find the complete list here .
Cyberpunk 2077 is a big game missing from this list. Considering that the CD Projekt RED title returned to the PS Store on June 24 and was the most downloaded game of the month at the same time, the fact that it didn't make the top 20 in July should be considered a disappointment. Of course, it can be assumed that a large number of players have already tried this game and do not want to return to Night City. Others, in turn, may be waiting for patches and DLCs that have yet to be seen or heard.
However, community patience has limits. CD Project may promise that they will bring Cyberpunk to its pre-release state, but this is another sign of content being cut with no updates or fixes, and bugs and glitches still tearing the game apart. Given the above, the Polish studio was in an even more deplorable position. To make things even more interesting, some of the work developers have to do is done by mod developers.
