Fortnite Skin of Mike Wazowski from “Monsters University” Leaked Online

A funny skin was discovered today that pays homage to the Area 51 raid and also looks suspiciously like Monsters University character Mike Wazowski.
A raid meme around the secret military base Area 51 has been circulating the internet for the past few months. Millions of people signed up for a Facebook event called "Storm Area 51, they can't stop us all" with the intention of finding the aliens that the US government is hiding from humanity.
The raid is scheduled for September 20th and Epic Games seems to have added an alien skin to Fortnite to pay homage to the meme.
Popular dataminer s1l0x discovered the skin on September 17th by posting it on twitter with the caption "Encrypted Traveler's Pickaxe".
The skin is a green alien in a metallic suit, with two "51" logos pasted on the right chest and left shoulder. The alien also wears what appears to be an ankle bracelet on his left leg, possibly indicating that they have escaped from a high security area.

However, the alien does not look like an ordinary alien. Players have made many comparisons to Mike Wazowski, the monster and popular cartoon. The Fortnite Creature has one big eye, a massive mouth and horns instead of hair.
While Mike Wazowski has neither horns nor a human body, the combination of eyes and mouth was enough to make you think.
The combination of the Area 51 meme and "Monsters University" is a nod to the childhood of many gamers who probably grew up watching the 2001 Pixar classic. Whether this could open the door to more monster-related skins in the future is unclear, but running around Fortnite Island pumping a James P. Sullivan costume or even a Roz skin sounds like a nostalgic ride waiting in the wings.
There is no confirmed release date for this cosmetic in the files, but expect it to be soon as the raid on Area 51 will take place within a few days.
