Guide to the set of artifacts "Clam of the Sea Colors" in Genshin Impact
Sea Paint Clam is a set of Genshin Impact artifacts introduced in Patch 2.3. This Watatsumi-inspired set is your healer/healer's new best friend.
The Sea Paint Clam is a cool set of artifacts that brings an extra level of utility to healers who can regenerate massive amounts of HP for characters like Kokomi and Qi Qi. It solves the issue of overflow recovery by allowing wasted healing values to be converted into actual damage output.
Statistics "Clam Sea Colors"
Two-Piece Set: Increases healing bonus by 15%
Four-piece set: A character equipped with this set of artifacts, when healing allies, creates a Bubble of Sea Colors. The bubble registers HP restored during healing (including excess - when the treatment exceeds the maximum health). Upon expiration, the Bubble explodes and deals damage equal to 90% of the recorded amount of healing to surrounding enemies (damage is calculated the same way as for Charged and Superconductor, but does not benefit from Elemental Mastery, Level, or Reaction bonuses).
A bubble of marine colors can be created no more than once every 3,5 seconds. The bubble can record up to 30 HP restored, including overhealing HP. A squad cannot have more than one Sea Paint Bubble at the same time. This effect can be activated even if the character equipped with the artifact set is not on the battlefield.
Passive Explanation
Using Qi Qi as an example, if you use her elemental blast, the opponent will be marked with a Talisman. Characters that hit a marked enemy will be healed by a certain amount of HP based on their damage.
So if you project a Qi Qi skill before switching to a DPS character to heal them, the latter will quickly regain their lost HP by spending excess healing (aka overflow healing) as their high damage means they can fully heal for a second or so.
Sea paint clam offers two benefits:
- Healers can spend their healing skill, go out of the field and still give out some DPS from their accumulated healing.
- Healers prone to overflow healing can maximize the maximum possible Artifact Set Damage output.
The maximum HP a set of artifacts can accumulate is 30 and only 000 percent will be recorded as damage. This means that your healer can deal up to 27 damage every 000 seconds, if he strains his healing skill.
How to get Sea Color Clam
Sea Dye Clam can be farmed in Dreaming Garden dungeon, an artifact domain located on Seirai Island in Inazuma. Players must gain access to a nation before they can start farming this artifact. It costs 20 original resins or one condensed resin (for two rounds in one) to qualify for rewards.
Who can use Sea Color Clam
Sea Paint Clam is great for healers who exclusively help your party survive, such as Qi qi и Kokomi. Their high healing amounts (plus off-field healing), which can be spoken frequently, are great for maximizing their passive artifact set. It also has a potential benefit to Barbara, but you will need to invest a bit more in her stats to get the maximum damage output.
While characters like Genie, Bennett, and Sayu can also heal, they bring more value to the board, so their damage output can be maximized using more versatile artifact sets.
