Genshin Impact: Morata Farming Guide
The best farming methods for Pestilence in Genshin Impact.
Mora is one of the most important resources in Genshin Impact. Whether it's upgrading weapons or ascending characters, Mora is very necessary at every stage of the game. While acquiring Mora may seem like a simple task, especially early in the game, it becomes less of a task as you progress to the later stages. Upgrading weapons and artifacts becomes much more expensive, and general grinding becomes more tedious. That being said, there are many ways to earn Mora in the game. This isn't necessarily a short-term solution, but it will help you in the long run. Here are the best ways to farm Mora in Genshin Impact.
Sigil Exchange
Anemosigils and Geosigils are two resources that can be earned throughout the game. Anemo Sigils can be obtained by upgrading (praying) to the Statue of the Seven with the Anemoculus. Every time the Statue of the Seven is upgraded to a new level, the player will be rewarded with a bunch of Anem Sigils. Players can also find Anem Sigils by opening chests in the Mondstadt area. These Anemia Tokens can then be exchanged for Mora or other resources in the gift shop (Mondstadt). Likewise, Geo Sigils can be earned by upgrading the Statue of the Seven and opening chests in the Liyue region. However, unlike Anemo Sigils, which can only be earned through the above methods, Geo Sigils can also be obtained by examining fossil-like spots on Liyue Rock or by opening floating crates in the water (Liyue area).
Stardust exchange
Players are rewarded with a small amount of Master Stardust each time they make a wish. This Stardust can be exchanged for numerous rewards that can be obtained from the shop. The store has a special offer that allows you to exchange 10 stardust without a master for 10000 mora. This is one of the best deals and is generally recommended to everyone. However, this exchange can only be made once every 14 days.
There is also another deal that allows players to exchange 20 non-master Stardust for 10000 Mora, and unlike the above deal, this can be rinsed and repeated as many times as necessary. However, this is generally not recommended as Stardust itself is a very limited resource that greatly helps when summoning new characters, which can be much more valuable than trading Blight.
In pursuit of money
The mysterious land of Genshin Impact is home to many animals and birds. Hunting them usually yields food resources such as raw meat and poultry meat. However, in one particular case, a squirrel with a small bag may appear in front of you. Chasing a squirrel and scaring it away will cause the squirrel to drop a decent supply of Morata. Keep in mind that the spawn rate and location of the money squirrel is completely random.
Victory over enemies
One of the most consistent ways to farm Mora in Genshin Impact is to simply fight and defeat enemies. As a player, you will start facing enemies/mobs/monsters from the very beginning, and defeating them in battle will create a Blight. This tactic is usually tedious and can become routine after a while, but it is a sure way to earn some morale.
Opening chests/water crates
Chests can be found all over the map and is a good way to get Mora. These chests, depending on their rarity, will give out Blight to the players who open them. Although the chests start to deplete as you progress towards the later stages of the game, they still provide generous rewards if you find them. Like the chests, the crates are scattered across the water throughout the map and can be opened to get through the Pestilence quickly.
Destruction of artifacts
As you progress through the game, you will begin to accumulate more and more artifacts. Higher tier artifacts will be more accessible, while lower tier artifacts will become redundant. If necessary, you can destroy artifacts for a quick Pestilence. However, this is not always recommended as lower level artifacts will also be required to level up your higher level artifacts.
Apart from all the above methods, completing quests, domains, Ley Lines, and special events will also help Morata's farming. Whenever possible, complete daily and weekly missions to get the maximum rewards.
