How to Respawn in Call of Duty: Warzone
The highly anticipated Call of Duty Warzone battle game mode has been announced, and one of the game's most unique features is the way respawns work. Here's everything you need to know about Buy Stations and the Gulag.
Call of Duty fans have been looking forward to another battle royale game following the success of Blackout in Black Ops 4, and their hopes have been answered by the announcement of Warzone, which includes some exciting new features for fans of the series.
In the early days of Battle Royale, being destroyed meant you were out of the game for good, but with Apex Legends and Fortnite providing a respawn option, Infinity Ward decided to incorporate the system into their game, but with an extra twist unlike what we've seen before. Players can spend their hard-earned in-game money to bring their team member back to life, or if you die early enough, you can test your abilities in the Gulag and win a 1v1 battle to get your return.

In this version of the royal battle CoD "Buy Stations" are located around the map, allowing players to purchase killstreaks as well as new life for their fallen comrades.
Of course, this means that players will need to save money to revive others, which currently costs $4500 per team member. Money is not easy to find in the game, so you need to be frugal and have some luck.
Alternatively, you can fight your way through the Gulag, a brand new feature that allows players to earn a way back in a match unlike any other game.

What is Call of Duty: Warzone Gulag?
The Gulag is a unique way for players to return to a Warzone match after their first death. In the Gulag, players fight in 1v1 matches against other defeated players, with the winner returned to the map.
When you enter the Gulag, you may be forced to wait your turn, but you can watch others fight in the ring and even cause harm by throwing rocks at the fighters. You only get one chance, so if you lose, you'll be stuck waiting for your teammates to find the Buy Station and rescue you.
It is important to remember that you only go to the Gulag after your first death and that it does not last the whole game. There is currently no set cut-off point for the Gulag, but most likely after a certain number of players have been removed. This is to ensure that players who die early have another chance, but in late game scenarios, teams must pay a hefty price to cancel the kill.
Of course, the revival is the last attempt to bring you back, and many will hope that they don't find themselves in the situation too often where they ask their teammates to spend $4500 to get them back.
If you are exterminated early and feel confident, you can always venture into the Gulag and earn your freedom at the expense of another fallen enemy.
