Travis Scott Concert In Fortnite: How It Was
Travis Scott's Astronomy Event beats previous in-game concurrent player records for any previous event in Fortnite.
Epic Games are renowned for hosting impressive Fortnite in-game live events for their player base, the first being The Blast off Event in June 2018. Since then, Epic has partnered with many different organizations and artists to host more Events.
The first live game concert in Fortnite was the festival Marshmello in February 2019, which took place in Pleasant Park. This concert broke the previous record and was watched by over 10 million players, but it looks like this record was just broken by Travis Scott's Astronomy Show.

Epic announced that the event will take place a week before the start, and unlike other events, this event will be shown five times, so players around the world can witness the show.
The first show featured over 12,3 million concurrent players, but that doesn't count people watching the streamers. Rod Slasher Breslau reports that there were about 1,7M+ on YouTube and 1,2M on Twitch watching the astronomy show.
This has without a doubt been the most successful live event in Fortnite and it remains to be seen if this will ever be surpassed. You can see the full footage of the event in the video below:
When the first show ended Travis Scott tweeted : « HONESTLY, TODAY WAS ONE OF THE MOST INSPIRATING DAYS. LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU GUYS. AND I KNOW THE TIMES ARE STRANGE FOR US. BUT FOR A MOMENT TO BE A RANGER TO RAGE WHEREVER YOU ARE, IT IS AWESOME. I FEEL YOUR LOVE WITH MY ALL BODY. !!!!! GANG»
