Croteam has confirmed that the harpy 3D model in Serious Sam 4 will have a covered chest, causing a firestorm on the Steam forums. The thread has over 600 comments and fans are accusing the developer of censoring the game.
Among the new materials of Serious Sam 4 , the Croatian studio Croteam presented the Scythian witch Harpy - a thematic model attracted which attracted the most attention from the fans. In the third issue of the series ( in contrast from the previous ones), demons, modeled on mythological creatures, found breasts with clearly marked nipples. In the fourth installment, the harpy's chest was covered again, which many fans did not like . Daniel Lucic of Croteam commented a question about the demon's gas legs on the Steam forum. He stated that the new look for winged enemies is a conscious decision by the designer and is not the result of a desire to censor anything .
“I said it was a design choice that had nothing to do with showing or not showing boobs. I'm guessing the character artist felt it looked better. Even the concept of a harpy didn't have fully exposed boobs."

Not all players believed the words of the Croteam representative. In over 600 comments on this thread Steam users accuse developers of giving in to moral pressure and hypocrisy (because they removed some of the nudity in a violent game that would still get an 18+ rating). Some dissatisfied fans even called for a boycott of the title.
Serious Sam 4 Coming in August for PC and Google Stadia. The title is also set to arrive next year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
