The Ultimate Base Building Guide for The Riftbreaker
Riftbreaker is a base building and tower defense game. This guide will show a universal set of buildings for the normal existence of your base.
A few runs on hard difficulty yielded a fairly universal recipe for building a base in any biome and any conditions.
In general, the approach to the base can be divided into two ways: 1 One large base with a common security perimeter, a single fence and an operational safe space inside the perimeter. 2 Cluster or cell base.
Method 1 is at first understandable and convenient, but then it only causes problems, since it becomes long and very costly to expand the security perimeter. I chose the second one.
As the base grows, you will quickly eat up resources from nearby sources and have to move on. Here I found a convenient combination of self-sufficient strongholds of defense between which there is an open space for building and movement.
The minimum size of the opnik: 6 windmills, 4 watchtowers, 1 energy storage + wall. This is the very minimum that will allow you to make a completely independent defensive midfielder who is not afraid if the zerg gnaws through his wire. He has his own energy. Further, it is possible to complete the construction of a radar, an artillery tower, a repair tower, a second row of walls, and so on. The oporniki themselves should be located at such a distance that the radii of the firing would intersect at least a little.
They are very convenient to put near deposits and geysers. Save space and resources. Towards the end of the campaign, you will need a lot of space, and each time you rebuild the defense rings, it will take you a lot of time.
