Here you can find help in finding all the followers in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

To unlock them all, you need to get to chapter 13 and go through many interesting, as well as funny moments of the game. You will not see allies spawn until 4 chapters, where you will encounter a mandatory sub-story called Trip to Pound Town which will unlock the mechanic and give you your first follower, Gary Buster Holmes.
